After we went shopping we went to my mom's. We get there and I see that her car is there, we get out and grab the bags and walk inside, I yell staying I'm here and I hear my mom yelling she's in the kitchen

"Hey"

"Hey what's up?" My mom asked

"Um nun much but can we talk for a moment,like now"

She puts down what she was doing and we walk to the back yard and I shut the door behind me

"So Vincent just asked me to marry him,like just now"

She just gave me a look she didn't even know what to say

"Um well what did you say?" She asked me

"I said 'your joking right' and he said 'he was serious' so after that I just up and ran and I grab ash and em and we just dipped"

"Wow, I'm just shocked for real hunny like I really have no words for this one"

"Yeah me to"

"Your just on your own with this one"

"Yeah I see that" I chuckled "I'm just scared cause when i have to get back what am I gonna tell him"

"Just be honest with him, tell him how you feel"

"Um mom I think I'm good on telling him how I feel"

"Well how do you feel?"

I thought for a moment

"I feel like I love him but I don't think I'm ready for marriage"

"Listen hunny how long y'all been together?"

"2 years and 4 months"

"Wow really?"

"Yeah i still can't believe it"

"So what are you gonna do?" She asked

"To be honest I really don't know,i mean i love him in all but marriage"

"Hunny I can't really tell-" she was cut off by em coming outside and telling us we should come outside because Vincent,danny,and Michael showed and some and apparently they knew each other and they were arguing and the man pulled a gun out on them

"What the fuck are y'all doing I got neighbors" my mom said

"I just wanna talk to the boy" the man said

"John get inside now,its nun of your business" she said

"It is my business she's my child I just at least know the guy"

"What goes he mean child?" I asked my mom

"Vincent take even one inside now!" She was more yelling now

"No i wanna know" I asked her again

"Vincent now!"

Vincent tired to grab me but I shoved his hand away "no tell me!"

"Addision I'll explain later just go inside"

I just stood there waiting for the answer I wanted but Vincent had already picked me up and carried me inside

"Why are you here john?"
