Decided to release this for a Christmas in July.
When Sirius Black broke out of prison he found Peter Pettigrew. With his friend Remus Lupin assistance they brought him before the ministry of magic. Sirius was cleared of all charges and was able to adopted Harry Potter. It was later discovered that Peter had a plan to resurrect Voldemort with the help of Barty Crouch Junior. With everyone behind bars the Wizarding world prepared itself for the Triwizard tournament. More then a few eyebrows were raised when Cedric Diggory won. Not many expected the kind Hufflepuff to best Viktor Krum. After that everything was almost boring in the wizarding community.
Cedric Diggory turned a few heads when he began working in level four of the ministry of magic. He specialized in the spirit division. Many expected him to join a quidditch team or the Aurors.
Hermione Granger had made a name for herself as well. She was known as the brightest witch of her age and she worked hard for that title. While still at Hogwarts she spearheaded a group to free house elves. No one was surprised when she joined division four.
Division four wasn't the busiest of divisions but it was far from boring. Because of what the job entailed there was a lot of traveling involved. It was also one of the smaller division with only a handful of people. Cedric had been told because of the closeness in their age and his experience, he would be training her. His fiancée was not excited by that development. Hermione herself was less then thrilled as well.
