Maybe it was the thought of being in charge of training someone. Maybe it was because He knew her before, years ago. Whatever it was he was nervous, he rest his head in his hand.Staring at the small stack of files he should be going though but that he was ignoring for now. Is she late, he felt like she's late, he look at his pocket watch and see that it was still ten minutes until she was due to come in.

"Good, you're here Diggory." Percy Weasley stuck his ginger head though my door.

"How can I help you Percy?" Cedric ask as he stood up to greet him. They shook hands and sat down.

"There has been some muggle complaints of a spirit in county Clare. The minister has asked that you investigate if it is an actual ghost or a creature running amuck." He said as he handed him another file for desk. Cedric took it and open it to scan it.

"This doesn't say which castle to investigate." He respond looking at all the  muggle newspaper clippings.

"Because we don't know, just find out what's causing these complaints. Department three is been having difficulties with excuses. As soon as possible." Percy stood up suddenly and went to leave.

"I'm suppose to start training today, it will have to wait." Cedric explain before he leaves.

"No waiting, Miss Granger is more then capable of joining you. She is a very bright witch." He quickly closed the door before Cedric could argue further. He sank back into his chair and run his hand though his hair. Cho won't be happy about this, she's already mad that he was working with Hermione.

The door crack opens a little and he could hear two people talking.

"Remember lunch at noon, if I'm not here I'll be in level seven." A male voice says and he hears her sigh.

"I know Malfoy, noon. Now go I'm going to be late." She sounded slightly annoyed as she comes into the office. When she closes it she stands there for a moment. She's changed quite a bit since Cedric saw her last. Her hair was calmer and darker. She had lost that last bit of baby fat and developed curves. He must have been staring because she cleared her throat and had an angry look on her face. Cedirc quickly stood up and motioned to a chair for her. She raised her eyebrows and gave him a tight smile.

"Hermione it's good to see you again, it's been a few years." He says as he sit back in the chair.

"Yes, well I was wondering if it would be possible to have a different trainer. One with more experience." She said curtly, he could tell there was another comment in the tip of her tongue but she kept it to herself.

Cedric was honestly shocked that would be the first thing she would say. Not hello, or good to see you too. Just basically insulting him and demanding another person.

"I can assure you, I have plenty of experience Miss Granger. Unfortunately everyone is far to busy to be dealing with someone barely out of Hogwarts." He didn't mean to be cruel, he was  not sure why her comment made me mad. Her eyes narrowed and her mouth twitched with a comment she was struggling to kept to herself.

"Which begs the question of why aren't you too busy to help me." She said quickly and his eyes narrowed this time.

"Go home." He said and a look of regret filled her face. Her mouth opened to say something else but nothing came out.

"I didn't." She began finally and Cedric took a little to much joy in her panic.

"Pack a bag, we have a case to start." He handed her the file and a look of relief filled her face. "Change your clothes and your attitude. Meet me in level six in an hour."

She just nods and stands up. He stays sitting and watch her leave when the door close he lets out a heavy sigh and scrub his face with his hand.

When he floo into his flat Cho was sitting a chair reading.

"Hey babe you're home early." She said as she got up to greet him.

"Yeah I have a case." He raise my eyebrows and prepare for the worst.

"Oh that's nice, where are you going this time." She went back to her chair leaving Cedric confused.

"Uh, Ireland. Might be gone a couple weeks." He mumbles grabbing the bag kept  by the floo.

"That's not fair to Hermione what is she going to do while you're gone." She asked and now was when the shoe was going to drop. He put the bag down and turn to her. After tugging his hair he let out a long breath out my mouth.

"She's going to investigate with me." He bit his lip and scratched at his cheek nervously.

"No." Was all she said in a very adamant tone.

"Cho I don't have a choice, the minister assigned this case." He walked to her chair and pulled her up into a hug.

"I don't care, I'm not going to have my fiancée galavanting across Ireland with Hermione Granger." She broke out of my hug and he rolled his eyes.

"It's not ideal but it is my job. I'm sorry but I have to go dear." Cho really has a problem with the Gryffindor.

Cedric walked back to the floo and grab the bag.The one thing about Cho is she cares what people think. She is right it doesn't look good for her fiancé to be alone with another woman, but we're co workers. Not to mention somewhere between her fifth year and today she has developed an extreme distaste for him.

"If you really loved me you would quit that idiotic job. Kingsley's has offered you an Auror position, two different leagues has asked to you to play for them. Why do you keep insisting on some low level ministry job?" She was standing behind him with her hands on her hips.

"Not now Cho, I have to meet Hermione in twenty minutes. I love you." Cedrjc go to kiss her cheek and she turns from him.

"That's fine my da was wanting me to go to Shanghai for research, I guess I'll go now." That shoe that was about to drop, hit the floor with a loud thunk. The threat she always uses when she wants to get her way.

"If you think that is what you need to do I'm not going to stop you this time.I should be back in two weeks, I hope you're here." He kissed her cheek and step into the floo. She stared at him with her mouth in an angry line. Great two beautiful women pissed at him in one day. He shrugs at her and throw the powder down.
