"Speak your grievances," Judge Tang says after giving him a glance.
Ding Sha and Zhao Keng walk forward and stand in between the two men and us in case they try to do something unexpected, indirectly creating a tense atmosphere.
[Beep!], the system suddenly sounds out in my mind
"My name is Ku De Hua and his name is Ku De Ren. Our brother Ku Si Le was murdered in cold blood yet the murderer is having a fantastic life right now as a powerful government official!" one of the older men shouts out.
[A desire strong enough has been found in Ku De Hua and Ku De Ren, the system will form a wish from the desires of these men]
"If your brother was murdered in cold blood, why are you telling us instead of the magistrate?" Judge Tang questions them.
[Two new wishes have been obtained!]
I start to wonder if they are related to the case of matricide that Magistrate Dong told us about last night.
"My lords, we were supposed to deal with the case by applying our family laws but the family of the wife barged in and abducted her! They then brought the case to the magistrate and as their family is one of the most affluent families in Yao Feng town, the magistrate gave her an extremely light and unfair sentence! My brother lost his life yet how is it possible that the magistrate only sentenced her to a year in jail!" Ku De Hua raises his voice as he is unable to control his emotions.
Our eyes become brighter after hearing what he said. It is clear that they are the brothers of the victim and is here to seek an appeal and hope for a harsher sentence.
Before I could ask the system to bring up the list of wishes, Judge Cui rejects the case immediately. Judge Cui gives a stern look and says "Do not question the integrity of the magistrate unless you have proof or is willing to accept the punishment when we find out that you are making false claims."
"We have already heard about this case and while the sentence is indeed light, our duty is not to criticise the sentences that the magistrate gives out. In truth, we will also arrive at a similar conclusion given the facts and the evidence that was provided. If you can produce new evidence or witnesses, we can consider allowing the appeal but otherwise, we will just see a repeat of what happened at the magistrate's trail as there is nothing to rebut the claims of the accused." Upon finishing his words, Judge Cui turns around and starts to walk away.
The two men are shocked and depressed after hearing what Judge Cui said but when they look at me, they somehow feel hopeful again and start to shout at me loudly. "Young Judge! Please consider accepting out case! Our brother was brutally murdered and it is unjust that she was only jailed for a year!
The other man, Ku De Ren started blabbing quickly as well. "That cheap slut had an affair even before she married my brother! My brother told us in confidence that she was not chaste on their wedding night but married her for the sake of their child! My brother treated her very well and there were no signs of any unhappiness in the marriage at all! She must have planned everything from the start! Young Judge, even the beggars on the street will not stand being cuckold, please addresses our grievances!"

Upon hearing all the Ku brothers trying to take advantage of my young age to get an appeal for the case, judge Cui turned and looked at us and then shouted "Enough! Ding Sha, Zhao Keng, tell those two people to get lost unless they have new evidence or witnesses."
Right now, the two men were already pulling on my robe and shouting their speculations regarding the case. "The child is probably not our brothers! She must have planned it all! She knew my brother loves the child and she told him about her affair which made him angry and then she used the child as a shield to kill him! The incompetent yamen could not even find the damned murder weapon! Young Judge, please consider allowing the appeal!"
Finally, Ding Sha gave the two men a tight slap each as he could not pry their hands away from my clothes without ripping my uniform into pieces.
"Let's go." Ding Sha tells me as I am shocked at what has happened right now. I really want to help them but Judge Cui has already spoken and since Judge Tang is silent, it means that he approves of what Judge Cui has done. Zhao Keng starts to pull me away from the two men who are still shouting on the side of the street. As I leave the street, I hear the shouts of the two men in the background.
"That woman killed our brother in cold blood and we cannot rely on the magistrate and judges for justice! She even got some martial artist to abduct the child from our house! Now she is a powerful government official and is going to get married to another man! She is happy while we have lost our brother and nephew! Is this justice?!" the shouts of two men echoes throughout the streets.

Soon, we reach the market district and we start trolling around, looking at the stalls. The market distinct is one of the most populated areas of Yao Feng Town and many people come here daily to shop and buy their daily necessities. I doubt that we still need to walk around as a living signboard anymore since a large number of people started gathering around us when the Ku brothers started to seek an appeal from us on the streets.
Sometimes when we stop to take a look at the wares being sold by the peddlers, they would talk to us and tell us about Ku Si Le and Ling Yi Sha.
The peddlers would describe them as a happy family of three whenever they visited the market.
However, the street peddlers did not know much about them besides the gossips on the streets and since the Ku family was a rich upper class merchant family, they did not try to befriend the street peddlers.
Some of the peddlers also mentioned that Ling Yi Shaw was snobbish and materialistic and some even said that Ku Si Le was a henpecked husband who did not have a backbone. None of them seemed to mention that the child could belong to someone else, so I guess everyone will be talking about Ku Si Le being cuckold soon since his brothers just told everyone on the streets.
Since Judge Cui rejected the appeal unless they can gather new witnesses or evidence and they made a scene, I am unable to talk to Judge Cui about it in public without offending him. Right now the priority is to buy a new money pouch and view the list of wishes. Since I can ask to view of wishes anywhere, I give the system the command to bring up the list.
