Hebrew 5:12 says "You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God's word.
You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food."How come is it that after a person goes to University for years, they eventually graduate and become professionals in their fields, but when it comes to Christianity, we often encounter people who go to Church for years and yet *NEVER* grow and always remain at the same level 😰?!?
The answer is simple: Too many Christians do not meditate on what they hear. We go to church, get revelations and become full of information to then quickly put it all aside and focus on other affairs throughout the day and during the week until the next time we go to church. It has all become a glamorous act. However the Word of God is just like *FOOD* in order for it to benefit the body it has to go through a process of *DIGESTION* without which our system will remain *WEAK* as it wont absorb any of the food' *NUTRITION*. So the key is not just *HEARING* or even *KNOWING* a lot but rather playing what we know *OVER* and *OVER* again in our mind until it becomes who we are.Romans 10: 7 says: "Consequently, faith comes from *HEARING* the message..."
Any person who attains a desired objectif, does not do it by simply thinking about it once in a while.
Faith produces the *IMPOSSIBLE*, however Faith does not come from what we once *HEARD* but rather from *HEARING* which implies *continuity*. Take any person whom you may consider as a person of faith, and stop them from *HEARING* the Word for a while and they will become as *WEAK* and as *FEARFUL* as anybody else. The food of yesterday cannot keep you strong for the whole week unless you keep on eating it *REPEATEDLY*.
1 King 17: 1 gives us the impression that Elijha had shut down the rain on the nation of Israel upon one declaration. However James 5: 17 gives us the full picture of what he did. It says: "Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed *earnestly* that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years." Elijha did not merely talk of his desire as a wish. Instead after he publicly declaring it, he kept the Heavens closed by *constantly* or *repeatedly* speaking the same thing. Faith is maintained strong through *REPETITION*.
What is the song that is constantly playing in your mind and in your heart? 🤔
A powerful person is not one who is *STRONG* but rather one who can remain *FOCUSED* on a target no matter what.
You need to purposefully keep your heart engaged by constantly speaking what you want to see.
Do not disengage after church or after hearing a Word by then giving your attention to things that are not important. People that end up becoming great keep on repeatedly telling themselves that they will become great until it becomes their reality.
Isaiah 55: 11 says: "so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return (it shall keep on going, on speaking) to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and *shall succeed* in the thing for which I sent it."
When God said "Let there be Light" in the beginning, the truth is that He never stopped speaking. The reason we have Light today is because the Word of God is *STILL SPEAKING*. This is why Hebrew 4: 12 says that the Word of God is *ALIVE* or again it is *ACTIVE*.
So the issue is not *HEARING* and *KNOWING*, but transformation lays in *HEARING* and *CONTINUOUSLY SPEAKING* what you have heard.
What you are constantly thinking about and keep on saying to yourself even in your heart you eventually *BECOME*.
Stop going to church to be motivated and exorted for few hours but go to church to be *EMPOWERED*.
If all you do is *HEAR* the *Word of God* you are truly *WASTING* it.
The Word of God must not just be *HEARD* it must be *EATEN*, it must be *DIGESTED* and never be released until it has produced something.
Until one becomes *INTOXICATED* by it they will never see its fruits.God bless you
Prayer
Heavenly Father I thank you for your Word by which you have created everything that exist. Forgive me for wasting your Word and from today by your grace I commit to be a *EATER* of the Word. This Word shall transform my life and take me to the top. By it i shall grow and conquer the gates of my enemies.
In Jesus's name I pray.
