The walk home is mostly silent and awkward. "So umm do you want to talk about it?"he asks suddenly. I don't say anything instead I just look at him. Strands of his blond hair hang down just slightly framing his face. His hands stuffed in the front pockets of his jeans. "Honestly not really, it's in the past I would like to keep it that way."

He nods and we slowly continue on our way. The sounds of peoples shoes hitting the pavement echoes through my ears as I clutch my bag tightly. In all honesty I don't understand why I feel so awkward, I mean Billy and I have known each other for lord knows how long now. Maybe it's just because every time I get the chance to hang with him Sidney is always there.

"Hey you hungry?"Billy asks as he gently grabs my arm stopping me in front of a diner. "Actually yeah I'm starving." "Well come on then."he chuckles. Gently he grabs my hand and pulls me into the diner. The smell of burgers and fries fill my nose as we take a seat in a booth.

For awhile we talk and laugh as we munch on fries and burgers. "So tell me Billy Loomis how are things going between you and Sidney?" "Eh there pretty normal. I have to admit I miss the old Sidney. She used to be so much fun now she's just a buzz kill all the time. I don't know it would be nice if she was like you."

"Like me? Why me,I don't do anything special." He stops munching on his fries and just looks at me. "I'm know you're outgoing, you're just shy. Hell you make me laugh more than Sid does, she honestly barely speaks to me." I cross my arms over my chest as a slight blush coats my cheeks. Suddenly the bell to the diner rings signaling someone has either entered or left.

Billy 's eyes leave mine and look towards the door. I follow his gaze to see him watching the one and only MJ. Her chocolate brown eyes catching his as she gives him this bright white smile. Giving an eye roll and sink in my seat just slightly. "Billy Loomis, long time no see."she says with a flip of her long blond hair.

Her eyes jump to mine and look me up and down. "Alaina how are you." "I'm fine how are you MJ?" "Peachy." Her attention quickly snaps back to Billy who has been watching us. "Well I'll see you around Billy."she says as she places a hand on her shoulder. She looks back to me and walks off towards a group of people.

"Wasn't she suspended?"I ask, my eyes still on her. "Yeah she hung a dead pig from the schools flag pole." "How charming."I say grabbing a fry and dipping it in ketchup. "Everything okay over there?" "What? Yeah I'm fine. Listen I really think I should just head home." I watch as she turns back to me her eyes locking on mine.

"Umm okay."Billy said clearly shocked by my sudden change. He leaves some money on the table and escorts me back home. This time we talk and laugh until we reach my door. "Thanks for everything Billy, it truly means well a lot." "It's nothing, you're my friend."he says as he stands centimeters from me. His hands tightly placed on my hips. "I'll see you tomorrow Alaina."he whispers. With that he releases his grasp on me as I walk inside.

"Took you long enough."her voice slightly cold. "My bad I had to get him to leave."I say my eyes look into her chocolate ones. I roll my eyes and walk to the couch placing my bag down. "Are you ready for this?" "I have to be, if I want to help you with all you craziness then yeah I'm ready." I pause for a moment thinking back to how we got here. "Do you think dad would have told us about each other at some point? Like do you think he would have told us we had a half sister out there?" MJ turns to me, "no, and now he will never get the chance."she says with a wicked smile.
