"Sam!" Jackson's sister Sam Smiles whacked an hostile using an abandoned, light-weight bat she found in the dark on her travels. The individual scrambled onto the ground, accidentally knocking over paint cans and other inanimate items before landing in crimson paint. The result pictured a murder in Jackson's mind. Something out of a crime show. Partly oozing out the negative thoughts, Sam felt guilt. She never attacked someone before, especially with a weapon, especially someone older than her, especially someone who harmed another. Sam's hands shook horribly. Is she a bad person now? It was self-defence, right? She just reacted to protect her brother. Before she became paranoid, Jackson instantly hugged her to calm her early-rising panic. "It isn't your fault. You just reacted. Honestly, I admit, you probably knocked the living daylights out of him." That line from Jackson made her relax with relief. Nerves steadied. Heart hammering. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale.

"Thanks, brother." A smile from her face was exposed for Jackson to see.  Oozing out the negative thoughts, Sam signalled her brother to advance up to an wooden, decaying door. Jessica was out there somewhere. Don't know where but somewhere. She was captured by thoughtless teenagers who thoughtlessly thought that stealing and kidnapping isolated walkers and clutters of kids who would be gone before the blazing ball of fire would be exposed once again to overlook the world from the cotton--wool like clouds would be a good idea. She was the only medic who would work her magic on the injured but where is she is the question. Michael was supposed to safeguard her but failed. Jackson and Sam Smiles were the only two volunteers who can resolve this mess they made. To receive her. But where is she? Jackson opened the door ajar to slip a peek at the deserted area. Darn. Another room empty. He angrily kicked the door after shutting the door.

"Well, sh-" Sam wanted to say.

"Don't swear, you know it isn't right." Jackson interrupted her without hesitation.

"Screw that! It's a free world. I can say whatever I want."

"You being your moth- Our mother!" He couldn't believe he slipped up. Sam can't know about that situation. Even though he did corrected himself, he wanted to hope that Sam didn't notice it in the slightest. "Looks like we are heading up."

"Shall we?" Sam questioned with a grin.

The room was flooded with clutters and clusters of teenagers. Male and female. Equipped and not equipped. The room was packed with promotional posters about rock bands and pop artists and conventions. Jackson memorised the unloaded gun in his pocket he used as an holster during travels too. Sam found bat. He found unloaded gun. Pathetic. How is he going to-?

Suddenly, absent-minded from reality, his brain took possession of him. Paths. Roads. Decisions. His favourite thing to study. Decisions and consequences. Most teenagers like himself would enjoy video games that took lazy people to journeys and adventures without going anywhere in the world. Music that can relieve individuals from times of aggression and hatred towards someone. Not Jackson. He was born to study decisions and consequences like he depended on it to live and survive. He was born for this unexpected gift that gripped onto him. He needed it now. To survive and live through this slippery situation or this may end with gunshots that would sound if fireworks sit still and blasted on the ground. In other words, they can die.

"I remember I still have the gun but what can I do with it?" Jackson questioned his train of thoughts. It exposed an image of him picking up an clip from downstairs and then returning to pull the trigger multiple times to turn them lifeless. "No, no, no that's insane. I wouldn't kill anyone. I will not. Unless... I could freak them out and pretend that the gun is loaded. Act the criminal if I can. I mean, I did take some drama so... C'mon, how hard can it be?"

"SIT DOWN AND SHUT UP! I HAVE A GUN THAT IS LOADED AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE-!"

"Nope, too much aggression." Jackson immediately answered. Too much aggression. Funny. Drama always came in handy at times but attempting to piss each teenagers' pants was not what he had in mind. He sighed and decided.

"OK, I GOT A GUN!" Surprising the teenagers who were playing card games and random teenagery things they were doing. Jackson continued. "See? This companion of mine will pierce through you unless you give me the location of Jessica Cloverfield. Yes, me and my sister are trying to find her so... Any volunteers? Hmm... Well." He pointed death at an defenceless, dull girl who was sobbing. "Want me to raise the skates?"

"Jackson, you need to stop! This isn't right." Sam Smiles ordered her brother but then the same words she said to him hit point blank and delivered with an devilish smile exposed on his face for others to see.

"It's a free world. I can do whatever I want." The last word 'want' was muted slightly. Drama definitely taught him to play the bad guy. It's creepy. Can he get lost in character though? Ohhhhhh. Clever. Sam noticed what was going to happen. He wasn't going to shoot the girl. Of course he couldn't because the gun was unloaded. Silly her. He's attempting to play the bad person in order to persuade them to surrender the location. Jackson, you clever clogs. "Three! Two! On-"

"WAIT!" An dirty, teary female approached them. She said something that they didn't expect. "Can I go with you? We're not those monsters but I want to help your friend." But then the tearful girl, gun still occupying her, said something too.

"You are an lying, thieving jerk!" The sobbing girl recovered.

"I may be that but I will say the truth... The gun isn't loaded. I just... I'm sorry. You have every right to call me that." Then Jackson thought something that he may regret later. "Know what? I'll give a free pass to slap me or punch me or whatever in particular."

"Really, Jackson? When do you ever give a free pass if-" Sam surprisingly knew. No way! No- No way! He's in love? With her? She giggled and some noticed that detail. No way! Him and her sitting in a tree. But how? He just pointed a gun at her. Unless she's into cunning men. She wished she had popcorn to enjoy this scene. The girl aimed her hand and the whack was powerful enough to knock him down for the others to see.

"Nice to meet you, Jackson. Hannah Wells. About this quest of yours? I accept. I mean, you got the guts to pull a gun at a innocent person if you have to. I'm impressed." Hannah introduced.

"It's called acting. Few drama lessons always made me into different characters and that is what I needed. To get back into that again."

"Well, I bow to you for an great display, Jackson." She laughed and so did Jackson. "Thanks as well for accepting your punishment. I was expecting you to run."

"I can't sprint away from fate, Hannah. The consequences will always catch up no matter what you do."

"Jackson and Hannah, sitting in a tree-" Sam sang playfully and Jackson covered her mouth to mute her from singing.

"That is my sister, Sam Smiles. She can be... I don't know." It was hard to find words. Especially now. He remembered what she did. She was bold and brave and kind. "She is bold, brave and kind. I wouldn't be here otherwise." Those positive words absorbed into Sam's heart. The girl who stepped forwards revealed her name to be Oasis. "Well, it's nice to meet you too Oasis."

"Thank you for being honest. I'm happy you had the guts to admit you were playing the bad card to gain answers. You aren't like that really, right?" Oasis questioned with slight worry. She didn't want to travel with Jackson unless she was true to trust him.

"My brother is the nicest guy you will ever meet, Oasis. You can trust him." Sam's response made Jackson blush dimly. They didn't notice. "We should go."

"I got one question for you, Sis." Jackson stopped Sam before she got too absorbed into the tracks. He positively said, "Shall we?"
