Waking up the next day I found myself in bed wrapped in Eddie's arms making me smile. I noticed he was still asleep so I buried my face in his chest and tried to go back to sleep. Five minutes later I was on the verge of falling back asleep when Eddie woke up and kissed the top of my head while stroking my hair.
"It's time to wake up darling. " He cooed and I groaned in response, burying myself further in his embrace. I felt his chest rumble as he chuckled softly and played with my hair.
"Dont me force you darling" He purred with a hint of teasing to his voice and I smiled as I pretended to be asleep. I felt him shift a bit and thought nothing of it until I felt him stroke my sides and kiss my neck making me blush. When he bit my neck however, I squeaked and sat up nearly hitting him as I blushed.
"Okay okay I'm up! " I cried and he chuckled as he got up and left before coming back a few minutes later.
"Here darling, change into this. I made it for you yesterday so you could get out of that filthy uniform. " He said handing me a black dress and I smiled as I looked at it.

"I love it Eddie thank you. " I said kissing his cheek and he smiled before leaving the room to give me some privacy. I quickly got changed and smiled at how the dress hugged my curves. When I finished I found Eddie and he took a moment to look me up and down as I blushed.
"You look beautiful darling" He said placing his hands on my waist and I looked up at him.
"You're not too bad yourself. I was wondering if I could go look around for some supplies? " I asked and he frowned seeming hesitant about letting me go.
"I promise love, I'll be back. I would never leave you. I love you too much to leave. " I assured cupping his cheek and he sighed.
"Alright darling, but take my knife just in case. " He agreed reluctantly and handed me his knife. I smiled and kissed him.
"Ill be back before you know it love. " I said and left after grabbing a bag.
Eddie's p.o.v.
I watched as my darling left and felt uneasy about letting her go alone. I was tempted to send Dennis with her just to be safe but decided notto knowing I had to trust her and if something happened she would call for me.
Turning and heading into the workshop I sat down and continued working on my darling's dress humming as I did so. I knew she was going to look absolutely stunning in this dress and it was almost finished. As I worked I began picturing what our family would look like and smiled imagining our children.
I snapped out of my thoughts and jumped as I heard a loud bang and my eyes grew wide as I stood up.
"Darling! " I cried and ran out of the room in search of my love.
Alice's p.o.v.
I had searched a few of the unlocked rooms in the hallway and smiled as I found some fabric and placed it in the bag happily. I managed to pry open a few vending machines and placed some food and drinks in the bag. I had yet to run into any variants which I was happy about as I continued my way through the halls.
As I continued exploring I stumbled across a set of double door leading to a lab. I opened the door to see a few variants inside but they didn't seem to care about me as I stepped inside. Looking around I found a few medical supplies and placed them in the bag before slinging the bag over my shoulder.
On my way out I noticed a variant managed to catch something on fire and my eyes widened as I looked at the containers in in the room. Before I even had the chance to get out the room exploded, bursting into flames and sending me flying into a wall with a sickening crack. I cried out in pain and tried to get up an out but couldn't seeing a shelf had fallen trapping my leg. It didn't take long for the roommate to fill with smoke and chemical fumes so I tried my best to keep from breathing it in but failed.
As the smoke filled my lungs I groaned and coughed feeling weaker by the second wanting nothing more than to close my eyes and sleep. However I knew I had to fight. As I fought to stay awake I could feel the burns from the fire and the glass from the shattered windows in my skin making me hiss in pain.
Having no other idea of what to do I did the only thing I could and called for help.
"E-Eddie! Help me please! S-somebody please! " I cried but it barely came out as a whisper and I felt a tear fall as I lied there eventually growing tired.
"E-Eddie... "
"Darling! " I heard but I was too tired and weak to respond as I shut my eyes.
Eddie's p.o.v.
I ran through the halls to the source of the sound hoping to God Alice wasn't in there but I had yet to find her anywhere else. As I arrived at the explosion I went inside and over the screaming of variants and fire I heard a faint voice whimper in pain.
"E-Eddie... " They whispered and I knew instantly who it was.
"Darling! " I cried as I navigated through the flames to find her on the floor with her leg pinned by a shelf that had fallen.
" Darling I'm so sorry, I should've never let you go alone. I'll get you out of here just hold on a little longer. " I promised and lifted the shelf off of her before picking her up bridal style gently and leaving with her in my arms and returning to our room.
Once there I placed her on the bed and frowned seeing her state. She had burns from the fire on the right side of her face and her arms and also had shards of glass embedded in her skin. This is all my fault, I should've gone with her.
"I'm so sorry my dear, I promise I'll make it better. Please just hang on darling. "
