Lee Jihyuns POV

My head went cold. It felt like everything was blurry.  I couldn't see anything at all. I could tell someone was there, but didn't know who. I didn't even know why I am hurt. Why is it so dark? The pain started to ease down, but still was pounding.

"What should we do with her?" I slightly heard.

My consciousness kept going in and out. It was so painful, but not the most pain I've had. I whined in pain and was confused on what to do with myself.

"She's awake." I heard. Fresh and clear.

I sat up and it was still dark. Small whispers filled my ears. I held my head and winced on the touch. Why was it still dark?

I felt a cloth over my head. Blindfold. Why was I blindfolded? I reached for the cloth and fiddled with the knot. Sooner or later, I got it off.

I rubbed my eyes and blinked back into reality. A bad reality.

Seven men stood infront of me. They had guns in there hands. Everything pointed at me. I froze, not knowing what to do.

Were these that gang that some admired?

Was this the end of my life?

One of the boys with darkish red hair put his gun down. He changed his look towards me, it still look liked he wanted to kill me, but he raised his eyebrows and had a annoyed expression.

"You're lucky we saved you. Most of the time, people are being saved from us." The boy took a step closer and observed me.

"Why are your eyes black?" he asked.

I couldn't make out an answer to him. I was took scared to do anything.

"B-born." I stuttered. Hopefully he got the gist.

He snorted and stepped back with his crew. I looked around and didn't see anything I knew besides this being my house. The man that approached me before reached into his pocket. All of the others were still holding up their firearms. The atmosphere was tense. I didn't know what to do. I felt like I was nothing. Literally, nothing.

"Your locket." The man said, throwing it to me. I catched it in instinct of if I didn't, I'd be in a worse situation than I am now.

"You have a lot of money coming your way." The man said.

"We want it."

I looked down at the locket. I opened it. My head wasnt so blurry anymore. I knew what had happen.

"You saved me from my mother..." I trailed off as I took the paper from the locket and read it. After I read it, I knew what money they wanted. My real dads fake investment, that he stole, but got away with. It's in his bank account, and the code is written on this paper.

I looked up at the men as I locked the paper back in the locket. I held up the locket and admired it for a little.

I decided to stand up. Their guns flickered. Did they really think I could do anything?

I was still so afraid. These men looked bad, but also good. I could see their face clearly, and god, under the serious faces they made, they were something.

I threw the necklace at the man who was talking to me.

"Keep it. I don't need it." I said as I looked around for my mother.

"Where is she?" I asked.

The man looked at me dumbfounded as he stuffed the necklace in his pocket. All I wanted was for them to get out of this house, before I really realize what's at possibility and freak out.
