The only evidence left behind was blood, but they knew who it was from. Even if she was missing it was obvious; Chie Satonaka was the next victim of the homicide. This could've predicted, or not. Another person dead, yes but missing, no. Yukiko was the first to witness this, considering the fact that they slept in the same room.

" Chie-chan?!" Yukiko called throughout the halls. "Chie-chan, where are you?"

The call of the friend in distress had awoken the sleeping child Nanako. She rubbed her eyes as she rolled out of bed and headed into the washroom. She stared at herself in the mirror for a long time. After she washed up, Nanako had stepped into the hall and found Yukiko.

Nanako tugged on her skirt. "Yuki-san, what's wrong?"

"A-ah! Nana-chan! What are you doing here?" Yukiko turned to face the child.

" I couldn't sleep, I had a nightmare." She spoke with her tired eyes.

Yukiko bent down and ruffled her hair. " As long as you don't interfere with the murder trying to get Senpai, then you'll be okay."

Nanako tilted her head. " Interefea-?"

" Anyways," Yukiko got up, cutting her off. " You should probably wake up your brother and tell him Chie is dead."

Nanako nodded and shook her brother gently. " Big bro, wake up. Chie is dead."

It was an interesting way to wake up someone but what else could you expect from the current delima they were in.

" W....what?" He murmured.

" Please wake up Big bro, Chie died today and I don't like it..." Nanako pleaded, almost getting angry.

Yu sat up on his bed, letting out a sigh. " We should've known..." He got out of bed and patted Yosuke on the head. " Hey, sleepy-head, you need to wake up."

Yosuke turned around and put his pillow on his head. "Mmmmmmm"

From outside they could hear sounds of heavy breathing, so they left the sleeping 'beauty' behind and joined those who were breathing heavily. Well, it was only two people; Yukiko and Naoto. They both had reasons to be in their current state; Yukiko was panicking because she lost her best friend and Naoto had came back from the headquarters in Inaba to solve this case. Although Yukiko looked to be fine, Naoto attire wasn't ironed, not to mention her hair was a mess and she had black circles around her eyes. Kanji was helping Naoto so Yu went straight to Yukiko.

" Yukiko, what's with you and Naoto?" He asked, although he could already tell what was up with Naoto.

Yukiko started to cry. " Chie-chan...I can't believe...."

He stood there, not knowing what to do. Then Yosuke, who had finally decided to get up, joined his best friend.

" What's going on?" he questioned.

"CHIE'S DEAD!" Yukiko cried. " SHE'S DEAD! GONE!"

She cried over and over again but all Yu could do is stand there. It was something to expect but he questioned why it hurt so much. Of course, another of his friends was a victim but the fact that it was obvious by now, shouldn't of hurt him this much. To see Yukiko in a state like this, maybe that was why. Yukiko Amagi. She was straight-forward intelligent woman who always worked hard despite the fact that she was a complete air-head and she had a horrible sense of humour. She was a the type of teenager that everyone would fall for, her feminine looks were up to a T, she was polite, respectful everything as man wanted to see in a woman. But now, she was on her knees, balling her eyes out because her best friend died and her friends, who had experience in finding the murderer from last case, has yet to find the murderer in of this case. Yosuke hung his head low.
