"I'm not crazy! Please! Just let me out of here! Mom, why aren't you stopping this?!"
I can't believe this is happening. Why am I being locked up? I didn't do anything wrong. This place is so creepy, and bland. There are way more people worse off than me.
"Jade, if you would just let me explain," Jade's mother says through her sobs. "I-It's just, the music that you listen to is just doing something awful to you. You've changed, and I'm scared of how far it will make you go."
Jade's mind whirls. What is she talking about? I haven't changed. I'm still her precious little girl who wears bows, suspenders, and big nerdy glasses. How can she not see that?
"I'm sorry Mrs. Thirlwall," the man in a white lab coat says as he puts his hand on her shoulder, "but will you will have to leave now. You can come visit her once she's made some progress here."
Jade's mother sniffles. "A-Alright... I love you honey. Please, do well here. I want you home as much as you do. I just want you well."
"Yeah right," Jade mutters under her breath. She huffs out of the main corridor, and towards where all the wackos are.
-
Who the fuck is doing all of this screaming? I realize that some people don't want to be here, but honestly, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
"Excuse me? Are telling me to shut the fuck up? You don't even know me."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to actually come out of my mouth. I completely understand though. Same thing happened to me basically. I'm Perrie, Perrie Edwards," she asks with a shaky voice.
"It's alright. We all have our issues. Hence why we're here, I guess. I'm Jade Thirlwall," she replies, shaking her hand. "I hope we can become friends. Seems like the only way to get through this shitfest."
"I'd like that. I'd like that a lot actually," Perrie says cheekily.
"Jade Thirlwall," a man with a clipboard yells.
"Yes sir," Jade replies, walking over to him.
"We got you a room. Follow me if you will. You also have a roommate," the man with the clipboard states.
"Sounds good." I hope they're nice, and not completely loopy. "What's your name," Jade questions.
"I'm Sam. I will be here most days. Just not the weekends. Ah, here we are. Your roommate must be out in the common room. I'll let you get settled. Dinner is at 6, lights out at 9. We'll make announcements over the PA. Come find me if you have any questions"
"Thanks. I sure will. I guess I'll be seeing you a lot," Jade replies with a chuckle.
