poping the question

(a/n ok, so I've got my comfy bead, pjs, my phone, charger, water bottle, and two pop tarts. I'm set for the night.

Annabeth's PVO

We where sitting on the beach, I sat down, his legs where straddling me, I was leaning agenst him, me head resting on his chest. Staring at the setting sun.

I whispered, "I love you"

"I love you too wisegirl.

I was thinking about diner, Chiron had announced that Chris and Clarisse where getting married, I was happy for them, but I couldn't help be jealous. When would Percy "pop the question?"

We where twenty three, and had been dating for seven years. We both went to collage and had good jobs, I was an architect, and he was a marine biologist. We both really loved each other. I would rather die than lose him, and I'm sure he feels the same.

So why didn't he ask already?

Percy's PVO

I was all prepared, but was loosing courage rapidly.

Its now or never. I told myself, I'm going to propose.

Annabeth's PVO

I was laying there, lost in my thoughts, when Percy pulled me to my feet.

"What are you doing seaweed-"

That's when he got down on one knee, and pulled out a small velvet box.

"Annabeth Chase, you are the love of my life, my everything, and I wana spend eternity with you. Will you marry me?"

I covered my mouth with my hands.

"Oh my gods Percy."

He started to look very nervous. I realized how long I had been just standing there.

"Oh my gods, YES!!!! Yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!! I love you Percy Jackson!" I kissed him on the cheek.

Then he slipped the ring on my finger. I looked at it and gasped. It was perfect.

Then I kissed him for real, and he kissed back.

I sat down and my hands found there way to his hair, his hands slid down my waist pulling my close.

When we finally stopped, the curfew bell had rang, and Percy picked me up bridal style. Then carried my to my cabin.

I didn't wana part, but we had to. So I ran inside and jumped onto my bed, falling asleep instantly.

That was the first night since Tartarus, that I didn't have any nightmares.
