Ch.16- Aut Vincere Aut Mori
The warm morning sun was usually a sign to you that everything was set to be pleasant today. But as you moved and woke up to the sight of an empty campground near you, the only item left being a note folded in front of you... for once, the sun didn't bring hope or happiness as it had for the past six months.
Your fingers graced the paper as the blanket you had been using to sleep the morning away fell from your shoulders and formed a lazy circle around where you were now sitting up. Your eyes were rubbed of their sleepiness as you read over the message you already knew was written.
With a deep breath and the effort to act as you had done for so long, no longer there... you rose from the ground, feet numb and body feeling light. The pair of gloves you had on lose, and thus you tightened them to hide away what was underneath them. The daily actions that had become like a ritual to you now, as nothing really matter to a lone Goddess stuck on this plane of mortality.
And thus, as you swayed from side to side, making your way towards where the sounds of clashing swords and screams of agony echoed to you... the note was crumbled underneath your grip. The witch had nothing to 'hope' about at this moment... no one would die from this as this was the state of the world thanks to your reckless actions and previous mistakes.
But who's fault was it really? Your siblings for never putting enough faith or trust into you? These mortals for being the ones to decide your very existence, personality, and emotions during situations like this? Or even... your own? A being born of no free will and created only to serve. But now... you had no master, no purpose... no worth in this world any longer.
Tightening your gloves and shaking your arms you paused once the sight of the battle could be seen. The images of two leaders in the middle dancing with blades while their troops tried to take out and injure the rest of the enemies was a sight to see. The war had begun already, and judging by how you were feeling currently... things were not going well.
They would all realize it soon as those princes had. And once they did... there truly was only one thing left for you in this existence. But until then... maybe you could have fun once more. And maybe if you were lucky... you'd get someone to play along for once as well.

Todoroki rose the sword up as yet another Highar soldier attempted to disarm him. The split-haired male grit his teeth together harshly upon seeing how much force a knight from his own kingdom was using against him. But then again, at this moment he was fighting against his father in the worst way possible.
"Got him!" Uraraka called, touching the knight's back and sent him flying up high.
"Geni!" Iida called, as a winged soldier from the kingdom Fuyumi had been married off to came flying downwards to the small group of four.
"Midoriya!" Todoroki called, seeing the green-haired male nod towards the prince.
The pair rose their blades to the male that was coming closer to them and then as the air was cut with a swift motion from all three fighters, it was obvious who had come out the winners in this. The winged man's magic having been slashed, thus erasing his wings and sending him crashing into a tree nearby.
"The forest here is so thick... it's hard to see the soldiers..." Midoriya muttered, the conversation continuing as Iida made quick work of yet another Highar soldier as Uraraka put up a shield quickly.
"I wonder how the others are doing..." Iida spoke, his back to Todoroki's as a trio of Tineenian warriors appeared from the opposite side that the previous soldiers had come from.
