A Remarkable Summer

Chapter 10

Previously

I took the key and placed it in the hole. I quickly turned it and couldnt believe what I saw when I opened the door.

Juli was sprawled out on the floor. Cameron quickly ran over to her and checked her pulse.

"SHE ISNT BREATHING" Cameron screamed and he was now crying. 

Me and Jacob both ran back to where everyone was.

"SOMEONE CALL 911" And with that everyones face dropped.

Pov: Lauren

Everyone was looking at me with a confused expression until I saw Hanna was calling them. 

"Um yeah, we have an emergency."

"The location is at Taco Bell across from Publix. Yes, its close to that hotel. Okay please hurry" She said to the lady that was on the other end.

"NOW THAT, THAT'S DONE. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" Lauren spoke after getting off the phone. Everyone else looked at me like they were basically wondering the same thing that Lauren said.

I gulped and looked at Jacob with worry clear in my eyes. I didnt want to tell them anything because I knew they would start worrying like crazy and then go and surround Juli, when we all know she probably needs space. Cameron's with her though, so I'm sure she is in good hands. 

"Guys please dont worry, but theres something wrong with Juli." I said.

"Well, whats wrong with her" Carter asked.

"We dont know, because shes not concious." I spoke and immediately looked at everyones faces to try and see what they were thinking. 

Right before anyone could say anything, we heard the ambulance pull up.

Five seconds later they were already rushing into the Taco Bell.

"Did someone call here about an emergency?" One of the people asked.

"Yeah, I did shes in the bathroom with her boyfriend. Shes unconcious and It seems like she wasnt breathing." I quickly said, so they could get to Juli. They both started running towards the bathroom and I looked at Jacob who seemed like he was upset. I really didnt know why, but he was being selfish. I decided to just leave him and go see what was happening. 

Pov: Cameron

My heart dropped the moment we saw Juli sprawled across the floor. I couldnt help the tears that formed in my eyes while I ran to her. 

She wasnt breathing and all I could think was...

Shes dead.

"GO CALL 911" I screamed. With that, both Jacob and Lauren ran away to the others. 

I did mouth to mouth but that didnt seem to work. I pumped on her chest, but it didnt help either. Why wasnt she waking up?

I just sat there balling my eyes and praying that she would be okay. I put her on top of me and began to craddle her.

"Please be okay." I whispered.

"Just please be okay."

I could hear Hanna talking on the phone and the others whispering about stuff. They were probably very confused and I wouldnt blame them.  

I looked down at Juli and admired everything about her.  

"Juliana, you are truly the most beautiful girl on the planet. You must be blind to think that youre ugly, and I never want to hear you say it again. I mean it. When you wake up, Im going to get you anything you want. We are going to go get icecream and ride rollercoasters after. Just dont puke, because thats gross hahaha. You are gonna wake up right? I mean you have too. You have a whole future infront of you and you cant just leave like that. I wont let you leave Juli, I wont. You mean to much to me in this god damn world to just let you go like that. And I wont. Just please, stay with me." I said to her while crying.

The people came rushing inside the bathroom. Two people were pulling a stretcher while the other two were rushing to where me and Juli were. 

The girl bent down and took her pulse.

"SHES BREATHING, BUT SHES BARELY ALIVE! COME ON LETS GET HER ON THE STRETCHER. MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!" She screamed at the other people.

A huge wave of relief washed over me when she said she was breathing. When I took her pulse It seemed like she wasnt, so I guess I was wrong... Im glad I was wrong. 

They quickly took her out of the bathroom and onto the ambulance.

"Okay one person can go with her" The lady said.

"Me" I said.

"Me" Jacob said.

I looked at him and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. Yeah they were close, but I was technically her boyfriend, although we havent made it official yet. 

"Jacob, Ill ride with her. Just go with the others."

He muttered something and then walked away to the others, who were already getting in the cars. 

 I quickly hopped onto the ambulance and sat in one of the seats next to her. I took her hand in mine and gave it a gentle squeeze. 

"You'll be alright" I whispered

AHHHHHH IM SO SORRY! I HAVENT UPDATED IN AGES ( YOU CAN THANK SCHOOL FOR THAT ) ANYWAYS IM SORRY ITS SHORT BUT DONT WORRY I WILL HAVE ANOTHER CHAPTER UP AROUND THE SAME LENGTH IN ABOUT TWO HOURS. OKAY LOVE YOU GUYS
