A Remarkable Summer

Chapter 2

The girls and I had finally made it back to the house after eating at tacobell. To be honest, I dont know if I was hungry or something but that food tasted like heaven. We were going to get to Magcon around 8 A.M. because we wanted to get a good spot. We had V.I.P for both days, so we were going to be able to meet them two days in a row.

We decided to all go to sleep since it was 12 in the morning and we had to wake up early.

My sleep was interrupted by hearing the doorbell ring. I looked over at the clock and I saw that it was nearly 2 A.M. Why the hell would someone be at the door at this time. I was kind of scared so I woke up Lauren to come with me. We got a baseball bat for protection and then made our way downstairs. 

We had made it to the door and I looked out the peep hole but I couldnt really make out the person. I slowly began to open the door and the person turned around. I completley froze and went in shock. Lauren opened the door a little more to see what I was staring at and she immediately started breathing hard.

"Um hey, sorry to bother you at this time, but I was wondering if you had string and a pair of scissors?" the boy asked.

"Oh,sorry my name is Jack, Jack Gilinsky" He said with a smirk on his face. He kept on staring at Lauren and Lauren kept on staring at her.

"Ummm, yeah I think we have some. You can come in while I go look for it" I said while finally breaking the silence. He listened and plopped down on the couch. Lauren could barley speak. The guy she loves so much was sitting on the couch across from her. I went to go find some scissors and string leaving them alone.

Pov: Lauren

I was currently sitting on the couch across from fucking Jack Gilinsky. I couldnt believe it and I tried my best to act cool.  I was just staring at him and he was staring at me. I finally broke the silence

"My name is Lauren by the way" I said while tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. All he did was smile. Oh my god his smile was so amazing. 

"Do you know who I am?" he questioned. I just nodded my head lightly and took out my phone. I started playing flappy bird and he suddenly laughed.

"Whats so funny?" I asked, sticking one of my eyebrows up in curiosity.

"Oh nothing" he said while smirking. I was really confused but just kept playing.

"So, you coming to Magcon tomorrow?" he asked.

"Yup" I chirped.

"Good" he said while winking at me. I immediatley blushed but was interrupted by a knock on my door. When I opened the door, there stood Cameron fucking Dallas. 

"This has to be a dream" I mumbled while looking up at the gorgeous human being.

"Um sorry to disturb you but do you know if my friend is here?" he said. I nodded and pointed to Jack sitting on the couch who had just recieved his supplies. I guess Juli wasnt paying attention because she said bye to Jack and started making her way to the stairs.

Cameron then opened the door more and made his way towards Jack. 

"Okay then" I mumbled.

"Come on man, they are waiting for us" Cameron told Jack. I guess Juli must have heard because she turned her head really quickly with a grin plastered on her face.

"Oh, sorry hi Im Cameron" he introduced himself to Juli and she was completly starstruck.

"Okay well bye guys and thanks for everything" they both said while making their way out of the door and towards the hotel that was just across the street.

"Oh my fucking gosh" we both screamed at the same time.

We both weren't able to fall asleep that night so we ended up watching a few movies until it was time to start getting ready. 

I was honestly so excited to meet everyone. I still cant believe Cameron was in my aunt's house. I went into everyones room to make sure they were awake and they were all half-way ready. I ran to my bathroom and hopped in the shower. After I got out I wrapped the towel around my body and began to wash my face. I then brushed my teeth and mouth washed. After this I did my make up and turned on my straightener.

I went to my suitcase and picked out light denim high waisted shorts, a floral crop top and a tan cardigan to match that. I admired my outfit in the mirror until I was fully satisfied. I went back into my bathroom and began straightening my hair. I pulled the sides back with a bobby pin and then brushed it out. My hair was only a little pass my shoulders so it didnt take much to make it look nice. I finally finished everything off by throwing on my white converse. 

I ran downstairs to see everyone already waiting for me. Cara was wearing a white shirt that was laced in the back with black shorts and white converse. Lauren was wearing a peach crop top with white shorts and white converse. Hanna was wearing a LA shirt with shorts and black converse and Ali was wearing a black shirt with white shorts and black converse. They all looked so pretty.

We all finally made it in the car by 8:15 meaning we were already late. I turned on the radio to hear the song Summertime Sadness. We all immediately began singing it!

After jamming out to that and five more songs, we finally made it to the place where the event was being held. I began to get butterflies in my stomach because I knew I would be meeting all the boys soon and I didnt like the feeling.
