"Class, I'd like you to welcome a new student to our class, Cathy!" the teacher said happily.
The whole class glared at me, as if they already knew that I'd be an outcast. Please don't tell me that I'm going to be an outcast in this class.
There was this one particular boy, he seemed the most popular, but it looked like he had a bad boy image. He didn't look at me at all. He took one look, and looked out of the window, as if I were a terrible sight to him. Most of the girls stopped staring at me and started to stare at the boy with a lovey-dovey look.
It's one of those type of boys... I sighed while thinking. Most likely the popular boys that like to bully people.
"Go ahead! Take a seat! There's one in front of Jungkook. I am Ms. Yoon by the way," the teacher said.
I looked at Ms. Yoon with a confused look. Who's Jungkook? I looked around to find an empty desk, and I found one. The only one. No way. It's in front of THAT boy. Having a disappointed look, I went over to the desk and took a seat. Once the teacher turned around to write something on the board, this 'Jungkook' boy took a piece of paper, crumpled it, and threw it at the back of my head. The other girls in the classroom started to giggle softly.
I knew it... He has the popularity, but he loves to bully classmates.
I decided that I'd ignore him the whole time I'm here at this school.
Class was finally over and I heaved another sigh.
"Jungkook oppa! Are you free tonight?" a girl asked.
I looked at the girl. Is she blind? Does she like this type of a guy?
"Will you please hang out with us?" another girl asked.
I sighed and started to pack up my belongings.
"No, I don't have the time," Jungkook replied.
The girls got disappointed and left. Seems like he doesn't have interest in any of the girls here. Jungkook also left the room. I picked up my backpack and got out of my seat. Once I walked outside, I was tripped.
"Yah!" I yelled. I looked up and saw Jungkook against the wall, with his arms crossed.
"Cathy, right? I heard your parents abandoned you. Is that so?" Jungkook smirked.
How does he know?! Is he that popular that my old school knew him and told him about me?
"No answer? I'm taking that as a yes," he said.
I was still on my knees. He didn't even help me up. What a gentleman.
"What does that have to do with you?" I questioned.
"I don't know.. Maybe I could tease you. Maybe I could torture you. You never know," he said smiling.
He crouched down and stared at me.
"Hm.. You're not like the other girls," he stated, standing up. "You seem weak. You also look terrible."
Excuse me? I look terrible?! Is he trying to say that I'm ugly? He's the one who should be in the hospital by now. He looks ewh. I can't even describe how he looks.
"Yah! Why did you have to trip me just to say—!" I exclaimed. I stopped because he walked away with no attention whatsoever.
A boy with brown hair came up to me and offered his hand. I took his hand and thanked him.
"Thank you..." I said, blushing. He seemed much nicer than that Jungkook boy. It seems like he's in my class since he came out the door of the classroom.
"Sorry about that. Jungkook's always like that," the boy said.
"Y-you know him well?" I stuttered.
"We're friends, with 5 other boys. But, I don't really like him. He has a bad temper," the boy said. "Your name is Cathy right?"
I nodded.
"I'm Taehyung. Kim Taehyung," the boy spoke, smiling warmly. "Welcome to our school. I'll get going first. Oh, one more thing. We can be friends right?"
I nodded a second time, and smiled back. His grin became wider.
"Okay, see you later!" Taehyung said.
A new friend. I'm happy about that.
Walking through the hallways, girls are whispering, people are staring. I was getting irritated. I don't really like this school. I've only made one friend so far, and that was Taehyung. No one seemed to like me.
"Why would Jungkook oppa talk to a girl like her?" a girl scoffed. "She's not pretty at all. I bet her nickname's going to be four-eyes sometime soon with those glasses on her face."
I tried to ignore them. Up until the point where I was hit with raw eggs. I did nothing to try to stop them. What I tried to do was try to defend myself.
Eggs? Really? Were eggs made to be thrown? No, they weren't.
"Why were you talking to Jungkook oppa? Get out of his life!" a girl said.
"Yeah! You're not even pretty! You should go die in hell!" another girl said.
Haha. That's funny. I'm used to these comments, but it was different this time. Hearing these comments about me made me feel worse about myself. I felt tears in the corners of my eyes, but I tried my best to hold them in. Suddenly, I felt nothing. There weren't any eggs being thrown at me. That's weird. They wouldn't just suddenly stop throwing eggs at me. Unless...
"YAH! Stop throwing eggs! Get outta here!" a voice said. The voice sounded familiar. Was it... I looked up, and saw a boy trying to block the eggs. I squinted my eyes, but I couldn't see with my tears in the way. Who was it?
