Echos of applause reverberate through the large hall as the cast finally evacuate from the stage, striding out to the dressing room and clapping each other on the back.

"I told you you'd be great." Jenna mumbles after linking her arm with the blond's, kissing his cheek.

Biting his lip, tyler only flashes a subdued smile.

Immediately the younger sighs. "What's wrong?" She asks softly.

"I mean... when the play finished. I saw josh run out."

Eyebrows knitting together, jenna slowly shakes her head. Her subtle smile falters, and soon drops from her face completely.

"I'm sure there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for that." She quietly states. "Don't worry, okay? You were perfect tonight. Josh seemed to think so during the intermission, what could've happened during act two to cause him to think any different?"

"What could've happened during act two? What could've happened during act two? Well, for starters I had to pretend to be deeply in love with my ex girlfriend. I had to kiss my ex girlfriend." Tyler stresses as he roughly tugs his bleached fluffy hair.

Briefly pausing to stand in front of the man and stop him walking away, she rolls her eyes before meeting his terrified honeycomb gaze. She gently settles her hands on his shoulders and rubs his arms in an attempt to comfort his anguish.

"You're an actor, tyler. You're a completely different person onstage than behind the scenes. He seems like a rational person, and trusts you a lot from what I've seen. I wouldn't worry about it." She replies whilst rubbing his flesh through the thin fabric of his t-shirt. The older's blank stare gradually creeps towards her, until he finally nods.

"But what if- what if he thinks I'm still in love with you or something?" He's questioning now.

Sighing, jenna pulls her hands back to swing at her sides as she falls into step beside him. "I mean, are you?" She asks, accompanying the query with an uneasy laugh.

"No, of course not!" Tyler snaps a little too quickly, causing her to flinch and avert her gaze. His impassive expression crumbles. "I didn't mean it like that." He adds gently, despite already having realised the damage had already been done.

"Yeah, no, obviously you didn't." Jenna says slightly harshly.

"Jen-"

"I'll see you downstairs." Interrupts the younger before storming into the dressing room and slamming the door in his face: leaving him silently standing staring at the painted wood for a moment.

Great.

Now he's upset jenna and josh.

Absolutely fantastic.

"Have you seen tyler?" Josh asks once he's beside his best friend, gaze nervously searching the faces of the chattering people swarming the large room.

Ryan shakes his head. "'fraid not."

"Dammit!" The younger exclaims as he smacks himself on the head, oblivious to the brunet's frown as he leans against a wooden pillar and stares hopelessly at the ceiling. "Fuck, fuck, I need to find him."
