Maya's POV

And guess what we saw Josh making out with Emily on the couch, ughhh
GET A ROOM SUCKERS!

"OH MY GOD, MY EYES! GET A ROOM YOU TWO.." Riley shouted as she closed the door and informed the 'lovebirds' that we are here.
"What are you even doing here?" She questioned them while I was standing there showing that I was unaffected by all of this but the truth was..HELL WITH TRUTH..

" I am sorry, sorry.. Corey told us to be here until you guys are here as they were busy." He was sorry, Again...ugghhhh

"So you were asked to babysit us and you are doing this, cool." Riley can we just go from here? stop asking them questions..please read my mind, PLEASE.

" It was just a kiss, and we were caught up---uhm--ah- sorry" Josh tried to get over with this awkward conversation..

"Just a kiss? We are 17 and not blind, you both were practically making out gosh!" Riley went on but now I cant I have to stop this.
"Riley it's their life, they are engaged and can do whatever they want so let just leave them alone and go to your room." I said this trying not to look in Josh's eyes, his blue eyes, stop it brain!!

"You are right" she placed her hands on my shoulder and we went straight to her room. I took a glance of Josh's face which was red in embarrassment and his eyes were down in shame. He looked miserable. You know what, I don't care what his face looks like or do I, no Maya concentrate.

As we sat down on her bed all I could think of was the conversation and that kiss he shared with her beautiful fiance, I tried to ignore the thoughts but that was impossible. Mean time Riley suggested to complete our pending with as well as our homework maybe that will help me to stop thinking about Josh and his stupid fiancé. We were done by four so I started to pack up my things in my bag

" Now let's get ready!" Riley exclaimed, I was confused. What was she talking about?

"Wait! What?" I questioned her.

"Oh god Maya, obviously for your date, silly" I was silly, seriously something is wrong with her
"Riley, its 4 o' clock and my date is at six o' clock. So if you know math at all there are 2 hours left still." I told her as she squinted her eyes in front of me.

"Excuse me, I know how time works but still it will take at-least an hour for makeup and an hour for you to choose and wear a dress if you know what I mean.."

I was still confused about what the hell was going on with her.

"My hands are not tied Riley or neither I am going to a fancy dress competition dressed as a peacock that it will take an hour for me to wear a dress or apply makeup" I stated that as sarcastically as possible.

"Stop complaining and go and wash your face until then I will take out an outfit for you to wear."

I followed her command as quickly as possible cause I am too lazy for an argument. It took me less than 15 minutes to freshen up.

As I came out, I saw my outfit laying down neatly on my bed. It was definitely my style and who knew me better than Riley.

"I love crop tops and jeans, thanks Riles.", I said hugging Riley tightly.

"Yeah I know that, I know you better than yourself and I am so excited. YAYAYAYAYA!", she squeaked in her voice and sat down near the bay window.

"Excited for what, for me going on a date or for the arrival of Mr Ranger rick?" I smirked and saw Riley blushing.

Mr Matthews was going away for a weekend for a school meeting and Mrs Matthews was out on a trial so Riley asked if she could have some friends for a stay at her place but only Mrs Matthew knows that 'the friend' is Lucas and had no intentions on telling Matthew. I think its fair they have been dating for more than a year and should be allowed to visit each other's house. Its not a sleepover but Matthews is too protective. No doubt there, right?

"For both actually, but i feel bad for not telling dad about this, okay whatever now go get ready." She responded.

All i could think about while getting ready was that Josh has moved on and so should I but as hard as I may try I still could not stop my self from pondering over josh and maybe this date would help me.

"You look amazing Peaches." Riley said as I entered the room as soon as i was done dressing up.

"Thanks riles, It----." I was interrupted by a phone call from stiles.

"Hey, I am waiting for you downstairs." He told me.

"Yeah, be there in a minute or so."

I don't have any excuse left now I am sorry, I procrastinated in which I am a pro at but anyways tell me what are your thoughts on this chapter.

p.s next update tomorrow I promise... and also there will be a lot of grammatical errors cause i am not rechecking. lazy me..
