Josh's POV

I was so busy making out with Emily that I totally forget that Riley will be back here in an hour. When she saw us, I was totally embarrassed and red cause of two reasons:

1. I, lately have been such a bad influencer on Riley.

2. Riley always enters the house with her bf, Maya.

All I could say or do was to remain quiet.

When both of them went back to the room, all I could think of was how irresponsible and stupid to even make out with Emily on the couch when he knew somebody could come through the door and see them kissing like what just happened right now. 

"I should take a leave now, it was really embarrassing but your sisters should have been more careful or should have knocked. I have to arrange things in my apartment okay, I'll see you soon, Honey." Emily said while moving out of the apartment.

"Maya is not my sister and it wasn't their fault" I mumbled but she didn't hear anything cause she had already taken her leave. Sometimes Emily did get on my nerve.

Right now I just needed something to lighten my mood with and switched on the tv to watch some reruns of red planet diaries cause why not, I cannot go to Riley's room to apologize or something so it's better to just sit out this time and Maya had made it clear she does not want to see me so ill not see her for like right now.

As the episode got a lot more interesting I heard a knock, like seriously. I opened the door and found a boy, around the age of Riley. 

"Is Maya ready." He asked. 

Who is he? That howdy Lucas was supposed to be there only hot friend, RIGHT? 

"She must be coming btw who are you?"

 "I am her date, Stiles and you must be?"

"Riley's uncle, Josh, "I said and what Maya is dating. m jaw seemed to clench for some unknown reason and I feel angry (cough, cough jealousy cough cough) but I don't think so this is right or this is. This is just plain weird.

"So you are the famous josh."

He knows about me, they talk about me? They have been on more than one date. My blood feels like it is boiling.

"Hey" I heard Maya's voice behind me. When I saw her she looked terrific and her hair and makeup was just perfect, she is perfect. 

"Sorry, I kept you waiting but yeah let's go."

"It's fine, you look phenomenal uhm," stiles said. Oh my god, he is such a flirt and well before I explode I should just leave. Why do I don't like this? She will date someone or the other Someday and whatever this weird feeling it has to stop, I chose Maya, not Emily.

Maya's pov

I am starting to expect something out of this date. I left Riley's place and started to wear my coat outside.

"So the place where we are going nearby so does you prefer walking or should I still use my car. " Stiles asked.

"Walking is fine by me," I said. We talked just like we did on our first unofficial date. 

"I really like talking and talking long walks with you," he stated and pulled my hair back softly. We both stared in the eyes of each other for like a minute.

"I love talking to me myself, its a delight." What, sarcastic comment to an uncomfortable situation has always saved me.

Stiles laughed and we continued with our topic of choice. We were talking about love and moving on he also had someone who he loved very much but she had to move to England and long-distance was difficult so decided to let each other go. At least he had someone who loved him back. Seriously, when I think of it no one romantically has ever returned me my love neither Lucus nor well Josh.

"So when are we gonna reach there?" I asked anxiously.

"Patient is the key, princess," he said

Princess, a word with so many memories.

FLASHBACK

(on the bus, on the way back from ski lodge)

"Hey, boing," As josh sat next to me. Riley was sitting with Lucas cause well now that they are dating.

"Hey, Princess," Josh said.

"Who are you calling a princess?"

"You, your eyes and the girl sitting next to me, you call me boing so I'll call you princess.

"Josh, that is so cheesy," I exclaimed

"Well once our someday comes and we start dating you have to deal with all this, it comes free with all this hot stuff."

I chuckled.

"Someday?"

"Someday."

FLASHBACK OVER

"Maya, are you alright, so as i was saying yeah not that talkative kinda of guy." I heard a last of it when i stop thing about that stupid person i dont wanna think about but still do.

"So you are an introvert?" I asked him

"Yeah, the member of the fewest species 'fanboys', he told me. 

"Hmm, well I guess in terms of talking an introvert but like that an extrovert," I told him while we reached the backside of the park and took a toll to something that look-like stairs. 

"What does that even mean but anyway here we are, turn around," he asked me and I did.

 As I did I just hoped I never blink my eyes. the sight was filled with millions of stars. The limitless sky with the flick of nature was perfect.  I have never seen such a beautiful sight like ever.

"This is the place I always come to whenever to you know when I think about Sophia and I wish you could use this when you think about josh, I know you still like him and I know it's difficult.  I am sorry for such a long walk'. he said.

"It was all totally worth it," I said as we gazed into each other eyes but what I saw was not love what I saw was security.

  All i could think of was maybe he is right, I still like Josh and well I don't think anyone could change it.
