The Wrong Secret Got Out

I put my headphones in my ear as i listen to music. I sat outside on the schools bench and closed my eyes while bobbing my head to the beat. I skipped my chemistry class to come out here to think. My teacher wouldn't notice anyway.

"May I sit here?" A boy asked with raised eyebrows. He was cute with brown eyes and hair. He had nice style and wore glasses.

"Sure." I gave him a small smile. No one has ever came up to me before since i do this everyday. The guy sat down next to me and i closed my eyes again, sighing.

"What are you listening to?" I heard him say through my headphones. I took it off and looked his way.

"Oh..um...business misery by Paramore."

"I love that song." He smiled at me. "May I listen with you?" I nod and handed him one earbud. We bobbed our heads also sung sometimes as well. He was very nice too. We talked never ending which was a nice feeling. At occasions we would laugh that made my day. I also learned that his name was Winston.

"So tell me a huge secret that you never told any one before." My body tense and flashbacks came as he waited for my reply.

"I uh." I nervously chuckled.

"You can trust me i swear. I don't have much friends. I just came to you because you looked nice." That was very sweet and it melted my heart, but I still didn't tell him the truth.

"Oh there was this one time i was with a crush and he told me something so funny i farted in front of him. Let me just say, i never saw him again." That wasn't entirely a lie but he laughed and so did I.

"Wow that is a great secret." He said wiping an imaginary tear from under his glasses.

"Milano!" I saw Brimmy ran up to me. She looked frighten "Oh my gosh Tiana-she..."

"What happen?"

"Tianna told a huge thing about you in front of the whole school." My heart dropped and i felt my stomach grumble. How did she know? I heard clapping from around the corner and a boy walked out.

"Milano. Do i have to be your step-father in order to fuck you?" He said, coming up to me with a smirk. I felt my face turn red and I covered it. I may have forgotten to tell you guys that my stepfather also comes in my room at night...you know the rest. My mom doesn't know about that though. Only that he beats me up. I never cried, i don't know why. Tears just doesn't come out.

"Don't ever talk to her like that." I heard Winston stand up for me.

"Or what?" Then i heard a punch and someone hit the ground. I peaked from through the cracks of my fingers and saw the dude on the ground holding his nose.

"Winston what did you do?" I smiled up at him. Couldn't do anything but smile he stood up for me and punch a guy in the face....for me.

"I did what he deserves." He smiled at me sheepishly and i giggled. We are definitely going to be friends forever.

School ended and i started talking to Winston on our way out.

"Do you need a ride home?" He asked.

"No im alright. See you later." I waved at him goodbye. Walking towards my moms car i looked up and she looks mad. I slowly got into her car without looking at her. Eye contact with your mother is the scariest thing, to me at least.

"Why did you skip chemistry?" She said angrily.

"I didn't feel like going. Im sorry." She scoffed.

"It's because of that boy? He is no good." She shook her head.

"Don't talk about him like that." I raised my voice. She looked towards me with a sneer.

"Who you think your talking to?" She pulled over and took her seat belt off to look at me.

"Im sorry." I scoot down in my seat and looked at my hands.

"Thats what i thought. We are going to the police station now." Police station? What did i do? I know i was being bad but not to the point i go to jail again.

We arrived at the police station and i never questioned her about it. Walking in, i felt the cool breeze as everyone looked at me.

"Your lucky i told jace to be easy on you." Jace. Jail. Tiana. Rape? All the things came together and i freaked out. Jace went to jail because of me. Tiana told people that i fucked him but i guess the teachers found out and called the cops to go to our house. Im so dead. I thought. Maybe i won't get into that much trouble, we will find out.
