For once in your life, you made it through an airport security in under an hour. It was early in the morning after all, so the airport wasn't very busy to begin with. You waited in the assigned lobby for your plane to arrive and finish unloading so you could board it. To pass the time, you browsed the news on your phone using the airport's free WiFi. You noticed most of your friends did the same or played a game. When your flight number was called to board, your group got up with their belongings and headed to get in line. Your tickets were scanned one by one before everyone was permitted to enter the plane.

You found your seat next to Charlotte and threw your carry-on bag in the overhead compartment. You planned to do nothing but sleep on the short plane ride there. It would have been two hours, but not long after you fell asleep, the flight was delayed at first for a few minutes, which turned into at least ten, then twenty, thirty, and finally an hour. No one left the plane. Most people found themselves asleep as well since they had to be up well before the sun to catch their flight. The delay was finally over, allowing the plane to finally take off and head to Amsterdam.

The planes gracefully, barely rousing anyone from sleep, but those that were awake were kind enough to wake other passengers so they could exit the plane. Alfred was he one to wake you up. You gave him a tired smile and got up, grabbing your carry-on bag from the overhead storage compartment. You grabbed Charlotte's bag as well before waking her up with gentle shoulder shakes.

"Five more minutes..." she grumbled as she turned to face the window.

"Charlotte, come on. We've gotta get off the plane," you explained. "I've got your bag, you just need to get up. I'll carry it for you."

         "No..."

"Are you telling me you want to go back to Zürich and miss out on Amsterdam?"

        "Amsterdam...?"

"Yeah, Amsterdam. We just landed. You wanna see the city, right?"

She turned back around with wide eyes and a small grin on her face. "Amsterdam!" She got up quickly and took her carry-on from you gently and ushered you and the remaining people from your group of the plane, eager to get the day started despite all of you having little to no sleep.

Everyone followed Alfred to get their luggage from the baggage claim before heading outside to the parking lot to find the bus and your new local tour director. Speaking of the new tour director, it was another male. He was tall with spiked up dirty blond hair with sideburns. His eyes were an incredible shade of amber with a small vertical scar above his right eyebrow. His facial expression screamed boredom as he stood with his arms crossed over his chest. He had on a blue v-neck with an off white colored cardigan over it, accompanied by a pair of dark colored jeans and black boots.

"My name is Abel von Houte," he said in a slightly deep voice. "Welcome to Amsterdam. Don't do the drugs if someone offers them to you."

"Why?" Darcy asked. "Not authentic?" she laughed.

"No, they're very authentic, but potentially dangerous. Just don't do them because then I'm the one held accountable for it because you're in my country, and I'd rather not see one of you deported for it," he answered, his tone ever so serious.

        "Oh... Okay..."

"Mhm. Everyone on the bus. Your luggage will stay in the back of it until we go to the hotel later tonight. We'll be going out for breakfast right away since none of you were fed due to your early flight. Afterward we'll be at the Van Gogh museum, stop for lunch and have free time, go to Anne Frank's house, take a paddle boat tour of the canals here, and end with a late dinner. We'll go back to the hotel after that so you all can sleep," Abel explained before Alfred could get a word in.

"Damn dude. You really learned the schedule for the girls," Alfred commented.

"I like to be organized. Keeping a clean and precise schedule is key."

        "I see..."

Your group boarded the bus and placed your luggage in the back before taking your seats. You sat towards the front with Valerie and the two tour directors. The ride was silent as everyone attempted to catch up on a few more minutes of sleep. Abel woke the group up once at the restaurant. After everyone sat down and got their drinks, Abel began to speak again.

"I'm going to get this out of the way now. I'm twenty-four years old. I'm a tradesman by craft. I dabble in a little bit of everything. I like cleanliness above all else. I have two younger siblings, a brother and a sister. I also have a bet rabbit."

"Do you get along with your siblings?" Amilia asked.

"Didn't used to, but our relationship is better now."

"You said you like cleanliness. Does that mean your a clean freak?" Darcy inquired.

        "I guess?"

        "You guess?"

        "Yes, I guess."

"What kind of rabbit do you have, and what's their name?" you questioned with a smile.

"Now there is an important question. Her name is Lucy, and she's a cream colored Holland Lop."

        "I had a rabbit once."

        "What breed?"

"Dutch. Black and white. His name was Coco."

        "Ah, I like those ones."

        "Me too."

He sent you a small smile as breakfast arrived. The rest of the day was spent peacefully and tiredly strolling around the Van Gogh Museum, the town, Anne Frank's house, and the canals via paddle boat. Abel subtly flirt with you when he thought no one was looking, which made you feel all giddy on the inside. You flirted back occasionally when you weren't too flustered. By the time you all made it back to the hotel, you were wiped out. Alfred hastily assigned rooms and handed out keys. You ended up with just Lily this time, which you couldn't complain about. Back in your room you quickly changed, did your nightly routine, and hit the hay.
