In an apartment, southwest of New York, an alarm went off in a teen boy's bedroom. Marcus Striker groaned as he kept his face buried in his pillow and stretched out his left arm, looking for the alarm clock.

"Stupid...freaking...." Marcus grumbles trying press the button. He then pounds his fist down on the clock, shutting it up. Marcus groans as he rolls on his back and rubs his eyes. He stretches, running a hand through his messy, silver hair. "(Yawn) Geez, what time is it?"

Marcus sits up from his bed and looks at his clock. He widens his eyes at what the time reads. "7:55?! The bus is gonna be here in five minutes!" Marcus shoots from his bed and zips on his jeans. He grabs his sport shirt and black jacket and runs into the bathroom, brushing his teeth like no tomorrow. Marcus then rubs his hair with water and combs it incredibly fast. He then grabs his glasses and backpack and sprints out the front door.

The bus then takes off as he tries to wave it down. "HEY! STOP THE BUS! STOP! THE! BUS!" But the bus just takes off as Marcus slows down, catching his breath.

~Great. JUST great!~ Marcus thinks to himself. Realizing he has no other choice, Marcus then does his best to run to the school.

After twenty minutes of non-stop sprinting, Marcus finally makes it to the school, sweat falling down his forehead. Outside the school, he could see the rest of the students entering and does his best to catch up. Inside he just casually walks past everyone, eyes faced down. Marcus sets his stuff down next to his desk and pulls out his notebook.

Just then his best friend Zack who has blue-ish, gray hair sits down and grins. "Hey Mark."

Marcus looks and smiles back. "Hey man, what's up?"

"Missed the bus again?"

Marcus sighs. "How'd ya guess?"

"Just a hunch." Zack chuckles.

Marcus rolls his eyes and lets his head fall back. "I am totally wasted from studying for this stupid calculus test."

Zack playfully chucks his shoulder. "You'll do fine man."

As the teacher passes out the test, Spike, Josh, and Kade were snickering behind Marcus's back. As he then starts writing, Spike whispers something and then pulls out a straw. He puts it to his lips and spits at Marcus, making him wince and wipe it off his neck. He glanced over his shoulder, watching them snicker and just shook his head. Once again they shot another and Marcus only rolled his eyes, wiping it off again.

Zack notices and shoots them a glare. "Knock it off you retards!"

"Psh, or what?" Spike scoffs.

The teacher then stands from her desk. "Is something going on?"

Marcus didn't want Zack and Spike to go at it so he replied, "No ma'am, everything's fine."

Spike snickered as Zack faced forward, grumbling. Marcus just sighed in relief. He's always appreciated Zack standing up for him, but he also doesn't want his best bud to get in trouble for something someone else did. After class, Marcus and Zack were by their lockers, switching out their books. Marcus banged his head against the door in dismay.

Zack saw this and breathed through his nose. "I know you hate Spike and his cronies Mark, but if we don't teach them a lesson they're just gonna keep being pains in the neck for everybody."

Marcus nodded his head. "I know Zack, but I also don't need to see you getting expelled from this school. Your my only friend. The last thing I want is to see you get transferred out and then we'll never see each other except on the weekends."
