Fury shuts the door to Loki's cage and walks over to the control panel. "In case it's unclear, you try to escape, you so much as scratch that glass..." The floor beneath Loki then retracts and shows the clouds below.
"Thirty-thousand feet straight down, in a steel trap." Fury states over the wisp of the wind. "You get how that works?"
He shuts down the controls and points at Loki. "Ant."
Fury gestures back to the console. "Boot."
Loki chuckles. "It's an impressive cage. Not built I think, for me."
"Built for something a lot stronger, than you." Fury retorts.
"Oh, I've heard." Loki then looks at the camera in his cell. "A mindless beast, that makes play he's still a man. How desperate are you? You call on such lost creatures to defend you."
Fury walks towards the glass. "'How desperate am I'? You threaten my world with war, you steal a force you can't hope to control, you talk about peace and you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did."
"Ooh, it burns you to have come so close." Loki says mockingly. "To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded what REAL power is."
Fury's nose twitches and he walks away. "Well let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something."

On the bridge, Thor, Steve, Romanoff, Dr. Banner, Marcus, and Zack had watched Fury talking to Loki.
"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Banner says.
"Yeah, like an ignorant pain in the neck." Zack mutters.
"Loki's gonna drag this out." Steve looks at Thor. "So, Thor, what's his play?"
Thor turns to them. "He has an army, called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard, nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the Earth, in return, I suspect for the Tesseract."
"An army? From outer space?" Steve questions.
"Not the first time I've heard that before." Marcus sighs. Venom shows his head, surprising the group aside from Zack.
"Don't start that again." He groans.
Banner clears his throat, ignoring the Symbiote. "So, he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for."
Thor raises his eyebrows. "Selvig?"
"He's an astrophysicist."
"He's a friend."
"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours." Romanoff states.
Marcus stands from his seat. "I'm more curious as to why Loki let us take him."
Zack nods his head. "He can't lead his Chitauri from here."
"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki." Banner points out. "That guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell crazy on him."
"Have care how you speak." Thor says. "Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother."
"He killed 80 people in two days." Romanoff states.
Thor shrugs. "He's adopted."
"Didn't he get you banished from your home?" Marcus inquires.
"I think it's about mechanics." Banner adds. "Iridium. What does he need the iridium for?"
