Final chapter/ Epilogue

Jumoke woke up in an unfamiliar setting and with a splitting headache. Looking around, she realized she was in a hospital. The last thing she remembered was talking to Yusuf; who apparently was behind everything, and had her family held hostage…my family… She began to cry

“Don’t cry babe, I’m here” a familiar voice said. Looking up she saw Tobi standing by the door, with Bimbo beside him and her heart jumped for joy.

“Mummy” Bimbo squealed and ran into the room and into her arms and she held her tight

“You’re safe” she sobbed, tears of joy streaming down her face.

“Mummy don’t cry” Bimbo soothed her.

“Yes we are baby, were safe, don’t cry. The captor let us go” he then narrated all he heard on the news about the insurgency situation at the airport.

“Oh my God, Amaka! She was meant to be there” she began to panic, trying to get up.

“Hold on babe she’s fine, I called her on your phone, she even tried calling you, right at the moment the doctor gave me your phone. They didn't get to the airport, thankfully, so please lay back down" he urged

" I spoke with the doctor who told me you were here. You really should be resting, the accident had a toll on you, you’re stressed and you had a concussion. But you’re both good.”

“both good?” she asked, confused “I was the only one in the car Tobi…” she stated in a matter-of-fact manner “thankfully” she then added with a small smile.

He smiled at her, a very wide smile that went from ear to ear, as if he had a lot of joy contained. She stared at him confusion for a few seconds with a cocked eyebrow before he announced.

“Baby, we're pregnant”
