I Hope I Didn’t Fall Too Deep (IRTFILWH Sequel) *ch. 2*
Austin’s POV:
“How was school honey,” my mom asked as I walked in the door.
I set my backpack down and hopped down on the couch. “It was good. Before I ask what I want to ask you, I just need you to know that I broke up with Angel a while ago and for about two wakes Sereya and I have been going out.”
I watched my mom as she tried to hold in her excitement. “That’s too bad for Angel,” she said quietly before her frown turned into a smile.
“Ma! Stop playing. Go ahead and say what you really feel,” I laughed.
“All I want to say is that I am so proud that you realized that Angel wasn’t the one for you. I’m just happy that you found the right girl for you. Sereya is an absolutely stunning, respectful lady. I really like her,” she said as she poured a bag of salad into a bowl.
“Yeah, I know ma. Sereya is wonderful! Angel was just a handful anyway. I guess you never notice how hard it was to be with a person until you’re not with them anymore.”
“At last you see,” my mom said before patting my hand.
“Okay well enough of this Dr. Phil talk. What I wanted to know is if I can go over to Sereya’s house tomorrow night. I want to go over to watch a movie at her house with Sereya and her little sister, Jazzmyne ,” I asked.
My mom stopped what she was doing and placed her hand on my cheek. “You turned out to be such a gentleman. I think it would be a great idea for you to go over to their house; that way Sereya’s parents can get used to the idea of you two,” my mom spoke.
I nodded, “Especially since they don’t know we’re together, yet.”
“Well why not,” my mom asked as she turned to walk towards the refrigerator.
“You know her parents are strict, but she says she will tell them soon,” I assured her.
“Okay, good. I’ve started to become good friends with Sereya’s mom, Juliet. I don’t want to hide anything from her, especially something that concerns her daughter,” my mom said sternly.
I grabbed an apple. “Okay thanks mom,” I said before running up the stairs to my room.
I stretched out on my bed and grabbed my cell phone.
I had two new text messages. The first one was an earlier message from Sterling. I opened up the other message, surprised to see a text from Angel.

I rolled my eyes and dialed Sereya’s number. I reached her voicemail: “Sorry hun, but I’m obviously doing something else right now. I know you want to talk to me, but I’m just too busy right now. Feel free to leave a message even though I most likely won’t listen to it. Anyways…I’m chuckin up the deuces. Mwah!”
I smiled and sent her a text.

She replied instantly.

Before I could reply, she called me. I answered in a heart beat.
“Hey bae,” I said.
“Hey, what are you up to,” she asked.
“Did you talk to your parents to see if I could come over tomorrow?”
