He was once a stranger,
Just one of the faces she saw in a blur,
Never thought he would matter,
Never thought he would become a trespasser ---In the walls she built,
Surrounding her in every bit,
Not letting anyone be inside it,
And yet he has broken it down without a glitch of guilt. He started it with a hi,
Like it will never end with a goodbye.
Made her feel high,
Intoxicated with hearts and flowers that looks like will never run dry.He was constantly, consistently around,
Like a moth attracted to the flame he has found.
He has claimed and gave her a crown,
Called her his queen to which he was bound. It was ecstatic--
And it was catastrophic,
To her heart that has always been protected,
By the walls she has created. She should have known.
This man would invade her safe zone,
In rapid speed, like a blitzkrieg,
And would make her knees grow weak. But like a fool, she didn't fought back,
Didn't build her crumbled walls in the midst of war,
Didn't protect her heart from this man who started it all,
She was just waiting there, waiting for the call. She loved how he made her feel,
All the emotions in a rocketing spear,
Willingly put herself in the target's mark,
Accepted what he had to offer even in the dark. She was in darkness,
And he was her light.
Her guide in the journey,
She has given him the key --The key to her heart.
The storm in her mind have started to subside,
Her heart's final defense have melted alongside.
He was a drug she needed,
And she's willing to get addicted. He had her at her best,
And he still stayed at her worst.
It was a beautiful nightmare
That she didn't want to end.Fairytales aren't true,
But he made her feel they are too.
Just as real as the time they've spent together,
He felt like a warm, comforting weather. She was astounded by the different feelings he's giving,
And so she has given up the last defense she's holding,
Given him everything she could give,
She was now ready to really let him in.They were happy, very happy.
Like children receiving presents
Feeling the joy with every single moment.
It was a fantasy she's willing to fight for until death. But good times don't last,
And feelings can change so fast.
Meeting him was fate,
Though she realized things late.Hindrances started piling up,
She can barely keep up.
But she thought they're still okay,
Didn't cross her mind everything have gone astray. She wished they would grow together,
Never thought their journey had to falter.
And as the gap grows wide,
She felt as though his love for her died. She was not okay.
And she still isn't.
He was not okay.
He probably is now.Now with him gone,
He's taken all hope she had found.
Lost in darkness again,
With a broken heart to hold in her hand.Left with no clue where to start,
She's a lost sheep wanting to be found.
Lost in the darkness where he saw her,
She's back from the start but the game was already over.
