Your smile can only hide
A thousand emotions.
But your eyes always betray you--
It screams every feelings you have inside.
Your shell have been your shield,
And it was broken in the lid.
Who was it that let them in?
Is it you or did they came barging in?
What's the use of hiding,
When you're already seen?
What's the use of pretending,
When you can't get them to believe?
You must have lied about everything,
That it's fooled you to believing.
Were you that used to lying,
That even yourself have forgotten what's real?
Is it the lies that you've made
That comforts you at night?
Is it the hate for yourself
That made the monster you show the world?
For once, pick yourself up,
Get out of your shell and grow up,
Let yourself go,
And don't hinder your joy.
Reach for the sky,
Spread your wings and fly.
It would be a dangerous ride,
But who cares if you fail once or twice?
Let your masks fall ,
Leave it broken.
You won't have to turn your back,
You will never be that something you lack.
You, you are beautiful.
You don't have to keep hiding,
You don't have to keep lying,
You, are worthy of everything.
The monsters you created
are just dolls of the past,
You are so much more.
So. Much. More.
You can be everything you want,
Don't let your past take over your life.
Your mistakes don't define you,
It's you who write your destiny.
