It was probably the longest night she had to endure,

Waiting for his answer has been a nerve-wracking torture,

She stayed up all night--

No, she didn't mean to but it's all right.

It's all right, I guess for she wanted this.

Just how much of a masochist do you think she is?

No one asked her to be this stupid,

But I guess this happens when you've been shot by cupid.

The sun is up when he gave his answer,

And it wasn't even clear at first -his answer.

She had to ask again just to make it clear

And that 'yes' to her question was a bomb dropped to her.

Just how that yes can make a man the happiest in the world,

Can make a girl's world crumble just by that single word.

It was a word she had been expecting,

But didn't know would hurt still despite of everything.

She already prepared her already shattered heart in hearing his answer,

But that didn't seem to stop the arrows aimed at her.

For all of her efforts in knowing the truth,

I give her an A for withstanding the torture.

By the answers she longed to hear

For being the masochist only she can bear,

I guess love that builds isn't for her,

The one that suits is the one that destroy.
