-A few hours later-

I watch Steve pace the room back and forth, for about the 90th time. I wasn't sure, I lost count after I got bored seeing him walk around his room. His arms were crossed, his mind was rapidly going, and his heart was hurting. The poor guy lost the love of his life, the rest of us lost our chef. I am not saying I want her back for the chef reason, but... yeah I am not going to lie. We need her ASAP. Clint tried to cook dinner last night, burnt a pan in the process.

"Steve, you have to eat something." I say.

"Why should I deserve to eat Tony? What if (Y/n) isn't eating, what makes it alright if I can eat when she can't" The super soldier snaps.

"I am just trying to make sure you don't go insane. Someone has to look over you."

Steve sits in the rolling chair next to his desk that his bedroom held. The same room that (Y/n) was taken from multiple days ago. Steve and the rest of the crew just has been notified about her disappearance ten days ago. Bruce waited two days to tell us, hoping that she would return.

"How could someone get into the tower without Jarvis knowing?" I ask myself.

"Sir, I did only get one snapshot of the kidnapper." Jarvis speaks up.

"WHAT! Now you tell us!" Steve says standing up, the chair falling to the floor.

Steve's TV turns on, displaying a picture of the hallway outside of Steve's room. There stood a male dressed in all black. A mask covered half of his face, making him hard to identify. His long brown hair covered his eyes, making him harder to identify.

I send the picture to my lab with a button on my phone. This guy is all to familiar with the news, makes me wonder why he came here.

"The winter soldier." Steve whispers behind me.

I drop my head, knowing that there will be no leads. This guy is smart, coming from hydra and all. The last time I have ever seen him was when he killed multiple scientists because of some new weapons they were making. Either he stole the weapons or destroyed them, still don't know till this day.

"Guys, um you will like to see this." Clint says, out of breath as he appears in the doorway.

"Can't you see we are in the middle of something?" Steve says first.

"But, there is something going on in the streets. A black van is recklessly following someone on a motorcycle."

"So what?"

"The person on the bike has (h/c) hair."

I look back at Steve, only to watch him follow Clint out the door. I dust off my suit before I follow the duo. This may be a lead to where (Y/n) might be. If that is (Y/n) on the bike, then we got her. Steve can go back to his normal annoying self then.

In the living room the whole team is watching out of the window. Steve was nowhere to be seen, which doesn't surprise me. I make my way to the window, only to see nothing. Just the streets and the cars on said streets. Clint slams his hand against the window in frustration, Natasha just shields her eyes. I glance over to Rhodey, he just shakes his head.

"What happened?" I ask.

"They took her. They took her before I could get to her." the super soldier says as the elevator doors open.

I slam my fist into the glass pane again, hearing the satisfying crack of my knuckle. I bite my lip as I made myself punch the window once again. I couldn't see out of the window because of the film that was over it and because of the blood I painted on it with my hand.

I hear the door to the front door slam open, making me jump in freight. I took the last adrenaline I had to serve one last punch to the window. Thankfully the window broke under the pressure that my body gave. The glass didn't fully hit the floor before I even had a leg over the edge. I took a glance over the other edge only to see that I am on the second level of this building. Thankfully.

The door to the bathroom flew open, and a very surprised Bucky stood in the doorway.

"нет!" he yells, running over to me. (no)

I swing my other leg over, quickly falling on the ground. Once I see Bucky looking out of the window I was on my feet. I know he will catch up to me, but I have to at least try. The more distance I put between us, the better.

I run towards the street, trying to flag down anyone. I hope someone is kind enough to pick up a dirty, bloody person. Sure there is 'stranger danger' involved, but anyone is better than Bucky. My eyes land on a motorcycle, someone had it on already but they weren't on it yet. They were fixing their gloves, which means they are distracted.

I jump on the motorcycle, instantly releasing the clutch. The motorcycle jerked forward, pulling me to a great speed. The owner of the bike just raised his hands in confusion as I drove away. I wanted to yell something back to him, but there was no use.

I laugh to myself as I feel the wind hit against my face. I weave my way around other cars, not noticing their annoyed looks towards me. A few more blocks and I will hit Stark tower, hopefully they will be home. I don't want to come home to nobody there, plus Bucky might show up at the tower. I can't really defend myself.

I roll down two more blocks to have my eyes land on the tower. Standing there in all its glory. The way it stands there, it looks like it is waiting for me. Like it knows I am coming home.

I glance behind me to come face to a van. The side door was open and two armed men stood at the entrance. The first guy reaches out and snatches me by my neck. Forcing me off of the bike and onto the floor of the van. My hands scrape against the little rigids the floor was built with.

As the door shuts, I watch as the motorcycle tips over due to no driver. The van swerves away from it before it turns in the opposite direction on Stark tower.
