Nobody says a word as we all pass around the packet of paper. My eyes never leave the table as I pass the booklet to Wanda. Her shaky hands grab a hold of it. The secretary of state left hours ago, but his voice never left my mind.

“In the past four years, you've operated with unlimited power and no supervision. That's an arrangement the governments of the world can no longer tolerate.”

So he wants to take away everyone's power? Make us have a schedule that they control? Do they know that schedules change? Course not, they don’t have the power that we do. The plus side of the meeting is that the Secretary doesn't know about me, I slipped into a sweatshirt. So that means he doesn't know about me, probably only thinks I am still the Avengers secretary.

Steve storms out of the room all of a sudden, everyone's heads pick up at the sound of the door slamming shut. Sam follows the super soldier, making sure to not slam the door behind him. As if on cue Natasha comes rolling in, her phone in her hand. Her face has confusion over it as she looks behind her as Steve and Sam walking away.

“We have till tomorrow to decide the signing of the Sokovia Accords. I will be going over to Vienna to be there for the official signing of it. So whoever is for the Accords, here.” Natasha throws a scroll onto the coffee table in front of me.

Her name is written on the top in black pen, Tony's name is scribbled in red. I look up at Vision and wanda, pained looks painted on their faces. Seems like some people already made of their minds. I get up from my seated position, making my way towards my bedroom. I need to think this thoroughly.

Steve obviously isn't signing the Accords, Sam is basically his right hand man so he won't either. That is a no-brainer. Clint, Wanda, and Vision: I have no clue on what they are thinking right now. I am going to be surprised to see what happens.

Why am I even thinking about this right now, I am not even an Avenger. I am someone too scared to even go outside.

But what if this is exactly what I should do. With more control onto my life I could be a better person. People can keep watch over me so I don’t kill anyone. Experienced people can make me into a skilled agent. Plus more eyes on us will be helpful, won’t let us have more trouble on our backs.

“Friday, you there?” I ask.

“Always for you Miss. (l/n).”

“Can you summon Natasha to my room?”

“She is already on her way.”

“Cool.”

Within a second my door swings open. Natashas smile fills the doorway as she enters my room. She shuts the door before sitting next to me on my bed. Her hands grab a hold of mine as she looks up to me.

“You understand that you are apart of the team now. So your voice matters just as much as mine does, okay? But I want you to come with my to Vienna tomorrow. If you are cool with that, don’t got a hot date or anything?” Natasha asks.

I let out a small laugh, “I am free. You don’t have to worry about me having any dates, trust me.”

“So you will come with me or not?”

“I have never been to Vienna, so yeah! Plus I get to meet the king of Wakanda, who ever gets to put that on their résumé.”

“Alright! We are flying out tomorrow morning. Dress up with something formal.”

“So hide my arms and hands?”

“I am sorry, we are trying to hide you as long as possible. Tony thinks you will be a good secret weapon. You are so darn adorable, nobody will see it coming.”

The woman in front of me starts to pinch my cheeks in a childly manner. I swat her hands away with a laugh. Natasha gets off my bed, “I will see you tomorrow then.”

I give her a thumbs up as she leaves my room, quietly shutting my door behind her. So what am I going to wear tomorrow?
