These are the outfits that Cooper bought for Davina, the one at the top and the other two.
"Hey Honey, how are you?" I heard the male voice ask.
"I'm doing good Daddy. I have a small favor to ask..." Davina replied.
"What do you need?"
"I need you to tell the cashier that I am Naomi...that I'm not some kind of imposter and I figured the best way to do that is to show him your face, because after all your face is always plastered in the news."
My eyes went wide and I began to wonder if her father was Maxwell Brooks. From what I know about him through the press is that he was a billionaire but instead of going into the family business like his father wanted him to do he went to law school and became a lawyer instead. And I know of no one who has been in the news more that Maxwell Brooks.
Davina showed the cashier her father's face on the small screen of her phone as he said "This girl is not an imposter, she is my daughter Naomi. If you want I can show you a picture of my daughter."
"Thank you sir, but that won't be necessary...this is more than enough confirmation."
Davina turned the phone back towards herself. "Thank you Daddy!"
"You're welcome. Is that all Honey?"
"Yes."
"Before you go I hope you are staying out of trouble!"
"I am Daddy, I promise."
"What are you up too? It looks like you are in a men's clothing store." His voice sounded stern.
"A male friend's birthday is coming up, he dresses really well so I'm just buying him a shirt for his birthday. That's all Daddy. You have nothing to worry about. I have to go and pay for it. Bye Daddy I love you!" she said and quickly hung up.
She paid for the suits and the shirts and ties that went with them and we left the store. Once we were in the car I asked her a question.
"Is your father Maxwell Brooks?"
