The Sky Under the Sea

Anna's POV

I hear a small knock at the door of my bedroom, I sigh and move towards the door, opening it slowly.

"Um, hi?" I say as I see Vic's face in a worried expression.

"Can we talk?" Vic exhales.

"Y- yeah, of course, come in." I open the door, my head aching.

He walks in and sits onto the bed. I remember all the fun we all had as friends, I really do miss it. It's just really hard to forget being homeless by the friends you love. I just want it all back, without a Noxxis.

"So, have you been having those dreams again?" Vic rubs his head.

"Actually, yeah." I say truthfully even though I haven't been sleeping well lately.

"Um, I'm really sorry for kicking you out. I shouldn't of handed the situation that way and I really do miss you An." He let's it all out in a rush but I can tell that he's been thinking about what he was going to say for a couple days at least.

"It's fine, honestly." I smile a bit as a tear falls down my cheek.

He places his hand on my cheek and wipes it away with his thumb, by the time the tear is gone, were kissing. His kiss has a lot more love in it, I can feel it. Jaimes was normal, but Vic's is- wow. He pulls away.

"O- Oh, I- I'm sorry.." he blushes and I do as well.

"No it's fine." I smile like I haven't in awhile.

"So, friends?" I frown a bit.

"Of course!" I hug him, he gets up.

"I've gotta, um, go break up with Noxxis." I mentally say yes as I stare at his bright crimson face.

"U- Uh goodluck?"

"Thanks, I'll be needing it. I'll hang out with ya later we can pop in a film or something." I smile and nod.

This feels so, fake. Three forgiven one to go, you can do this Anna.

A couple hours later, Vic comes in depressed.

"What's wrong?" I jump up off of my bed.

"Noxxis, she said some pretty rude things when I left her." I frown.

"Well, let's forget about the girl who ruined our lives and watch a movie. any suggestions?" he laughs and nods.

"You put in coraline while I go pop the corn." he smiles and kisses my cheek, walking out.

I let out a little squeal, and go get the movie from the back room, I bump into Jaime.

"Oh sorry." I look down, he hugs me.

"Anna, I'm so sorry, please just be my friend again like old times." I sigh.

"Jaime, I just need some time, and until then, please just stay away." he nods.

"I really am sorry, though." he walks away, I swear I see a smile at the side of his face.

I shake my head and go in the back room and grab Vic's favorite movie. I smile and walk back into my room, putting in the movie and making a small bed on the floor close to the tv. After I'm finished, Vic comes in with one big bowl of popcorn. He sits down onto the little bed I made with pillows and blankets. The movie starts and I get up, locking the door. He laughs.

"Sorry, I just don't want anyone intruding on the movie." he nods.

Somewhere around the middle of the movie, we're cuddling and the popcorn is long gone. I play with his hair as we watch the movie.

Pretty soon the end rolls around and we're on the floor, kissing. I blush through it all. Vic decides not to take anymore chances and we go back to cuddling, watching the movie the second time but falling asleep by the beginning. I smile as I sleep as if it was my first time smiling.

I may like Vic.
