Chapter 11 Review

Note: I had help with this chapter by a friend of mine. So I'm giving partial credit to her.

Chapter 11: Machina Maker

Summary of the Chapter:
In the beginning of this chapter, Professor Weisz commands Shiki and Rebecca to hand over the ship. He threatens to hand it over or else they can never leave the planet ever again. Shiki decides to hand it over while Rebecca wanted otherwise. In this chapter we see Weisz for the first time use his ether gear. Flying numbers full of codes cover the page when he uses his power. So as the reader, I assume he has the power of constructing and reconstructing machines for his own use. And BOOM!!! The ship comes to life. As professor Weisz said, "Good Girl." LOL :D
As the chapter progresses, Professor Weisz explains his ether power to his new associates. He then repairs Pino's leg leaving Shiki amazed. Later on Rebecca receives a call from the present Professor Weisz, who explains in detail why Norma's time was stolenand Shiki did in Norma doesn't change a thing. At the end the ship is caught in a force made by Space Pirate's bigger and badder ship.

Thoughts:

Weisz having Ether Gear was suprising when I first read the chapter, but yet, I had a feeling something like this will come. Since the first chapter, I thought that Ether Gear is rare in this universe, but it looks like I misunderstood it. Ether Gear is something from the Dark Ages.

Machina Maker... The name of Weisz's ether gear, or so he called it himself. I like how his power is completely different from Shiki's. Shiki's ether gear is gravity and can be used for battles or any fighting-related. I don't really see how Weisz's can be used to punch a person's face.  Machina Maker can access into machinery, meaning that it can transform or do something under his command. Although Weisz's ether gear can't really be used in battles, it proved to be useful like what he was able to do in this chapter. But hey, this is the first time we see his ether gear in action. There can be more than we can see by eye. Oh and also:

We have this cool pattern for Machina Maker!

And then we have this long and confusing (well, at first) explanation from Prof. Weisz, the Weisz that Rebecca and Happy knows. Because none of the gang read the news, they went to a planet that had an entry ban, not realizing it. Prof. Weisz explained that Planet Norma was consumed by a monster who eats planet's time, Chronophage. Meaning that it brought Shiki and the others into 50 years in the past of Norma but still in their present timeline. Okay. When I first read this chapter, my mind basically exploded by the talk of the timeline and Chronophage. (WHO ELSE HERE GOT CONFUSED?!😅) But I soon understood Prof. Weisz explanation after reading it a few more times. I was interested by the fact that there is a monster in space and its role in space, AND I wonder if there are other monsters in space that can do something big like Chronophage here. Soooo it looks like we have two Weiszs in the present timeline: One old and one 50 years younger. And he said that there won't be any time paradox to worry about. If they ended up meeting each other in person, I want to see what their reactions will be like.

There's something being said about Pino. From this chapter, Prof. Weisz said that he only fixed Pino, meaning that he's not her master. But Prof. Weisz said that someone-BUT we have no idea who- said that Pino's master is the Demon King. However, now that the Demon King is gone, would that mean that she'll be passed down to Shiki?!

At the end of this chapter, we bring you ERZA SCARLET!!!😂 Well, it's most likely that she will have a different name for this series. Hmmm... I wonder what's her role in this series and why is she trying to find Shiki??

A/N yes! I finally got this chapter review completed but I still need to work on the other reviews. Thank readers for your patience (hopefully it wasn't a complete torture) and I'll try to get the other chapter reviews completed!
