Renesmee and Jacob, ever after-DISCONTINUED

1. Growing up.

A/n:

I am not Stephanie Meyer and I do not own the Twilight saga but I do love it so I though I would take my time to show how I think Jake and Renesmee's life should have been after Breaking Dawn part 2!!

JAKE'S POV:

Nessie was growing up slowly now. It took, on average, 1 year to make her look 2 years older, which does not sound slow at all. But compared to when she was a baby, when it took her 1 week to grow about a year, it was!

I was beginning to get very impatient as Nessie looked about 15 and I looked 18. Ness loved me as a brother and as a best friend. I loved her that way too, but I wanted to be that and more with her. Edward new that and he was getting a little bit frustrated every year.

My pack, ( Seth, Leah, Embry and Quil) were getting little bit tired of my obsessive inner monologue. All I could think about was trying to imagine Nessie when she was my age. Her ageing is different to Nahuel's, who's ageing stopped at the age of 7. We guessed this was because of the different gender of the two half vampires. Nessie's real age is 11, 12 today, but she has the mind frame of a 18 year old. I honestly could not wait for her to be my age... I knew Edward could!

It was Nessie's birthday today and Edward agreed to make a negotiation with me as I really wanted to spend time with Ness alone today and he said that she would spend the day with her family only and then I would get the evening with Ness. My dad had bought a new home now, as Rachel was staying home a lot now that Paul had imprinted on her (great). With all the extra people in the house we needed a bigger one than the small bug hutch we used to have! Nessie now had her own room in the house now so Edward agreed that she could sleep at mine.

It was 6:30 pm, I was meeting Nessie at Bella and Edward's cottage at 7:00 pm, I guessed I should start getting ready. Nessie and I had agreed casual clothes but I bet Alice would be still working on Ness now and I knew alice, Ness would be wearing a dress and heals if Alice got her way! So I decided a shirt and shorts ought to be okay.

I got changed and was already in the woods outside the cottage. It was 6:59 and I waited until exactly 7:00 as I didn't want to upset Edward. I knew he would be able to hear everything I thought so I decided to show him how thankful I was that he was letting Ness spend the night at mine. So I thought:

«Hey Edward, you honestly don't know, well maybe you do, how thankful I am of you letting Ness stay with me tonight. I am also extremely thankful that you let me see Nessie so much. You know I love her and you know I will wait until she looks 18 until I can... Well yeah, so cheers...»

I think that ought to do it!

I heard foot steps, then a door close, then someone, someone with a beautiful sent, someone who's sent I would recognise from a mile off, someone who was the goddess of my dreams, walk up to me. I turned around and there she was. My jaw dropped when I saw Ness, she was wearing a black dress, with sequins, that came to her thighs and black heals. With a matching black necklace and bracelet. She looked stunning. She smiled shyly whilst I fumbled trying to remember how to close my jaw. I eventually did!

Ness walked up to me and we walked through the woods in silence for a little bit. To some people this would have been an awkward silence but this wasn't awkward at all. It was kind of... Nice. I eventually said,

"You really do look beautiful Nessie!" I looked down at her to see her blush.

"You don't scrub up so bad yourself!" She said with a grin. We looked at each other and then laughed.

"Do you want to get where we are going, which is a surprise by the way, faster or slower?" I asked. I was planning on her riding on my back with me as a wolf but it was up to her, it was always up to her. I was happy when she was happy.

"Faster!" She said with a smile. Nessie had gotten the need for speed from her dad. I said okay and walked behind a tree.

(( I Phase ))

RENESMEE'S POV:

I loved being with Jake, it made me feel complete. Jake didn't know that I knew he wanted me to grow up quicker so I could be his girlfriend, dad told me. I felt honoured by that but I wasn't worthy of Jacob Black. Many girls had asked him out in the past 12 years of my life and he had always turned them down. Before I knew he had imprinted on me and he wanted to be my boyfriend I found that strange, but now I understand. Two years ago imprinting got explained to me. I felt extremely honoured now!

Jake phased behind a tree so I guessed I would be riding on his back. I loved doing that. He came back and and I gently jumped on his back. We raced through the trees, sat on the beach, saw Billy and opened presents. It was a truly wonderful evening!

********************** 3 YEARS LATER *******************************

JAKE'S POV:

Nessie now looked 18 and I really was super impatient. I wanted it to be the right moment when I would kiss her. I didn't want it to be forced, I wanted it to be natural.

My pack, Nessie and I, were all walking along the beach. We did lots of activities together now as I was in supervision of Ness once a week. The Cullen's needed to hunt once a week now as, to them, Nessie's smell had gotten more human. To me, however, Nessie just smelt better, everyday. She smelt of a mixture of: roses, friseur, lavender and blossom. But I had smelt that combination at Bella's wedding and Ness did smell like that. But she smelt better.

Today we had been hiking and rock climbing. Nessie liked adventure.

The pack was leaving now to go back to their families. I decided to walk through the woods with Ness.

She looked absolutely beautiful today.

RENESMEE'S POV:

I don't know why, but today Jake looked absolutely handsome. I had only just seen him his way and I think that my feelings were changing for him. I, however, had drawbacks to being his girlfriend; 1- I was very afraid of what my family would feel, and 2- I didn't want to loose him as a best friend. I was afraid he would forget that he was my best friend and just want to be my girlfriend all of the time. This worried me.

Today, however, I was seeing Jake differently. I didn't understand. Suddenly, my dad's words seemed truer than ever;

'You can only fall in love with someone once.'

Maybe I was falling in love with jake? I really didn't know and it was getting very confusing!

We, Jake and I, were walking in the woods, it was nice- peaceful. I enjoyed being in company with Jake but all of a sudden, a strange feeling swept over me. I didn't want to just be friends with Jake, I wanted to be more! What is wrong with me? Is anything wrong with me? No, nothing is wrong with me! I knew my feeling for Jake would change but I didn't know-

"Are you okay, Ness?" Jake asked, caring. I looked up surprised, my face must have looked worried or confused. I changed my expression to surprised and happy. I shook my head,

"No, I'm fine!" I smiled.

After two minutes of silence, Jake slipped his hand into mine. This surprised me and I looked up into Jake's face. He was looking in my eyes with soft, loving and caring eyes. I looked back. I felt Jake's free hand on my back, gently pulling me towards him. We were very close now. Jake cupped his hands around my face.

"I love you, Renesmee Cullen!" He leaned in towards me...
