"You think you're better than me Nina?"
Loren heard his voice echo from a different time.
Those were the last words he ever told Nina, before he stormed into the guest room. If only he could go back to that moment he would not have fought with her then. He would have held her close to his chest, kissed her forehead and told her he loved her.
But if he could have gone back to that moment he would not have let her stay home at all send her somewhere far away from them.
Loren could not help but think about her ever since he saw Rachel. Not because Rachel looked anything like Nina but because he felt like he was cheating on her.
It had been four years since Loren was so entranced by a woman. Four years since he wanted a woman not because he wanted to drown out the noise but because he simply wanted her.
He wanted the angel that smelt of roses. He wanted to suck those nipples in his mouth. To part her legs and taste the peach that lay underneath. He wanted her and she was forbidden.
