YOU , ME AND A CUP OF COFFEE

Part - 3

 The whole day was very busy for Nishad.Sometimes sitting at the cash counter performing the duties of the owner and then supervising the assistant chefs while controlling the internal management.He look at his wrist watch " 5.45pm ".Still he has 45 minutes.Wearing an apron he started preparing the special dessert for a special person.No one was allowed to interfere when Nishad was working.The whole dish he wanted to prepare by himself.His last stroke and its ready.The dish is just perfect..like its chef.

Now Nishad was sitting at his usual place waiting for his fav customer.The cafe has almost 15 tables but still that one corner table adjacent to glass wall was his fav place to sit. He look at the door and found Amrita entering the cafe.Nishad run his fingers through his hairs giving it a perfect curve which fall on his forehead making him look more dashing. Her eyes started searching him.As soon as her eyes met with him a smile appeared on her face. She walk towards him.

" Hii.." Nishad stand up and smiled at her.

" Hii..Sorry I was just stuck in the traffic..hope I am not late. " Amrita said smiling.

" Don't worry you are perfectly on time. "

They settled at their table and as usual waiter Martin came to take the order.

" Uhm..first we will start with the coffee and then.." Amrita said looking at Martin and then she look at Nishad to continue further.

Nishad order the dessert and gesture Martin through his eyes to present the special dish made by him.Martin smilingly gives a knowing look to Nishad before leaving which was not unnoticed by Amrita but she chose to ignore it.

Later Martin came with the two coffee cups and the special dessert.

" Strawberry infuse creme brulee with a vanila flavour rose cake "

Martin place the dessert in front of them smilingly wishing them to enjoy the dessert.

Amrita was astonish by the over all dish in front of her.The presentation of the dish,the smell of fresh strawberry flavour creme and her fav rose flavour cake. She was just eagerly waiting to eat this dish.

Nishad gesture her to eat.Amrita take the first bite.Nishad was never been too nervous in front of anyone about his cooking skills but now he was just looking at her trying to read her expressions.

The dessert contains the perfect amount of sweetness and it slightly cut by the strawberry flavour brulee.The vanila and rose flavours added richness to the dessert.

 " Ohh..My..God,Its just..out of the world.I think I just fell in love with this dessert. The combination of coffee with dessert is truly magical. "

A satisfactory smile appeared on Nishad face.He was really happy that his hard work finally pays off.He also taste a spoonful of dessert and it was just like that what he was expecting. Sweet,Soothing and blissful.

Nishad and Amrita enjoy their sweet meal and then Martin provided the bill to them. Amrita was checking the bill when she found that it was only for the two coffee cups and the dessert was not included in the bill.

" Excuse me.." Amrita called out for Martin.

" Yes Mam.."

" Umm..You forget to add the price of dessert in the bill. "

Martin and Nishad exchange a small look and then Martin smilingly started.

" No mam..the dessert was complimentary from our side.It was our policy to give complimentary to the customer who order it for the first time. "

" Ohh..Thank you so much. "

" Its our pleasure mam "

Nishad and Amrita standing outside the cafe after paying the bill.

" Thank you for the wonderful treat. " Nishad said cutely smiling at her.

" Basically I have to thank you for making me aware about this beautiful dessert and amazing coffee "

They both exchange a look smilingly.

" Okk..I have to leave now..Bye. " Amrita said glancing at her watch.

" Bye "

Amrita started walking.

" Hey..Amrita.."

Amrita stop and turn to look at him smilingly.

" What..? "

Nishad slowly walk up to her.

" Actually..I am quite aware of many interesting things.." Nishad said smirking.

" Like..? " Amrita said raising her eyebrow.

" Like..I know tomorrow evening there is a street party some blocks ahead.Will you join..? "

Amrita unknowingly smile.She think for a while and then noded a yes.

" Great " Nishad said excitedly.

" But..Only after a cup of coffee. " Amrita said grinning.

" Done "

Amrita smilingly drive away and Nishad walk to the cafe with a big smile on his face to resume the work.
