Lynx yawned as she padded across the floor in bare feet after a shower. She was dressed in pj's because she just got off a night shift and was exhausted from doing scut. She was drying her hair when she heard the doorbell ring. Confused she passed through the kitchen to look at the calendar on the fridge and cursed under her breath. She completely forgot that today the new roommates were moving in.
"So much for sleep.." she said to herself and went to go answer the door.
Deleon was just moving into the new house she found out about with other roommates. The taxi dropped her off at the address, and Deleon grabbed both big heavy bags carrying them with ease. The taxi man offered to give her a hand.
"No, I got it. Thanks." She rolled her eyes climbing up the porch to the unfamiliar home she would soon be cozying into. She rang the doorbell and heard the footsteps of another person on the inside. She sighed, waiting with anticipation.
Waiting for someone to answer the door, she looked around the yard, which was a huge beautiful bright green lawn, and lots of land. They even had their own area of woods where she could go if she needed to escape the real world. Suddenly, in the corner of her eye she noticed a squirrel staring at her, with his front paws off the ground, kind of like asking her for something.
"What is it?" She asked the squirrel and he looked at this bundle of acorns in which were on the roof of the house. To make sure her cover was clear she glanced around, then using her powers she grew a vine to bring the acorns down to her hand. The squirrel walked up taking the acorns from her hand, then she gave him a pat, making him chirp joyfully and climbing up his tree.
Percy yawned as he slipped out of his bed and looked around his room sleepily while letting his eyes adjust to the light in the room.
Deciding he didn't feel like getting dressed up he simply changed into his combat pants and put on a white t-shirt, something he wore often as an ex marine. He then headed into the kitchen to make himself a pot of coffee before hearing someone at the door ."I'll get it " he called out before walking to the front door and pulling it open "Hullo?"
As he opened the door Deleon froze, turning to look at him, the squirrel sitting on her shoulder as they had just been playing.
"H-Hey! I'm your new roommate, Deleon Jackson. It's nice to meet you!"Dakota had just moved out of her place, and to move here. She heard she'd have roommates. She sighed, putting her glasses on, they are round, but cute glasses. They didn't do anything to cover her scar, and she didn't care. She hopped in the cab, telling them where to go, but to drop her off halfway. Once she was dropped of halfway, she paid the driver, then began walking the rest of the way. She never really liked being in cars, and she only had her bag. She just arrived right when a man opened the door. She jogged up, stopping behind the other female. She peeked out behind her, her red hair slightly covering some of her face, the scar on her eye and legs visible
"And I'm Dakota, Dakota Creek.. Also a new roommate"
"Deleon..." Percy paused a moment to think before his lips twisted into a cheerful smile "Right you were coming today...I totally didn't forget" he commented as he shook her hand before stepping aside "Come on in."
He then stepped to the side and smiled at each of the females as he gestured for them to follow him inside of the luxurious home
Deleon looked over at Dakota and flashed her a smile
"It's nice to meet you as well, Dakota. I hope we become great friends!"Dakota walked in, smiling at Deleon "Hopefully I can keep these friends.." she muttered, then spoke up "Likewise, and I'd love to have friends!" she stated, looking at Percy, then walking past him, looking around the place.
"Oh shoot I forgot!" Deleon exclaimed, taking the squirrel that was still on her shoulder and putting it outside.
"Sorry bud, we'll play again later!"
Percy closed the door behind them before smiling and walking towards the living room "Do either of you need help with your bags?" Percy offered as he turned to face them both "Oh and I'm Percy by the way"
