I walk down the long dreary roads, the back of my shoes chafing my heels. A constant flow of rain pours down my face, the rain starts to pour harder. I hear a honk as I continue to walk.

That honk grows closer and closer until I finally turn my head to it. The car is all too familiar, I remember this car pulling up to me whenever I seem to lose my job. The car that I first stepped in when getting to the UK, matter of fact this is George's car.

"Hop in loser!" He shouts from the drivers seat rolling down the window. "But I'm soaking wet!" I shout back cuffing my hands around my mouth. He goes into the back grabbing a bag with an extra pair of my clothes in it, weird but very convenient.

"I always come prepared" he says with a stupid smirk on his face. I roll my eyes opening the back door to the car. I throw my messenger bag on the floor of the car. Then I start to undress, this wasn't abnormal for me to undress with George in the same area as me. He often did the same when we were in a rush.

Throughout the ride we just sit in silence, the radio softly playing Moody's Mood For Love by Amy Winehouse.' One of my legs crossed over the other rocking as I hum along. I hear George try to speak up but close his mouth instantly. I would push to question, but I don't.

Soon the silence feels awkward, I adjust the 'pride' pin onto my new dry sweater. George slows the car pulling it over to the side of the road. "{N/N}, this is the 9th job you've lost in the span of a month." "I know where this conversation is going, and sure I'll do it." He turns around his eyes are lit up with a smile plastered on his face.

He gets out of where he was parked for a bit and starts driving again. "I thought id take a lot more convincing!" His voice was peppy as he drove. I look through the the windshield laughing quietly to myself. "I thought I'd give in so you wouldn't constantly keep bothering me about it." I close my eyes, putting my head to the window.
