So, you've got a bad boy/bad girl/non-binary bad person (yay! cue the drama)

You want them to have motivations that will make your readers connect to them better.

So here are some motivations can you apply that are easier to expound on to create a more intricate character arc:

1. To be remembered.

2. To prove others wrong.

3. To be entertained/ out of boredom

4. To no longer be afraid.

5. To bring back what was stolen/lost.

6. To fight persecution.

7. To gain control

8. To save the world (in their mind)

9. To hold on to their beliefs/ maintain their tradition

10. To maintain honor.

11. To bring justice (in their mind)
