Namjoon and Hoseok stood outside in the back yard. Hoseok hadn't said a single thing as the same went for Namjoon. The two Alphas stood about an arms length apart from each other and looked straight ahead. Hoseok looked up and sighed.

"Hoseok, my question still remains unanswered," Namjoon said, eyes never glancing over to the other.

"What question?" Hoseok asked, looking at Namjoon out of his peripheral view.

"Why shouldn't Jimin be with me?"

Hoseok exhaled as he turned to face Namjoon, mustering the other Alpha and tilting his head to the side. "You look weak, you look like of you got pushed in a fight, you'd fall back. Your brother couldn't leave your home all because of your insecurities, and you--"

"Jimin was attacked a few days after I brought him here, by a Rogue. I protected him, defeated the Rogue flawlessly as if I was protecting my mate, because I was. When he ran away, I ran after him, carrying him here on my back for miles on end. I bought him clothes and food, and dealt with him in his heat and in his depression. He has helped me more than anyone has ever in my entire life. He changed my outlook, how I treat and talk to others. He makes me feel like... like..."

"Like no matter what you do, he will never leave your side?" Hoseok asked, finishing Namjoon's sentence.

"Yes, Hoseok, yes. I am not trying to fight you any longer. I don't want to be your enemy or on your shit list or anything. For the sake of Jimin and Taehyung, let's just put this petty feud behind us and move along. I'm sure you want to claim Taehyung, which if that's what he wants, then so be it, but I am asking you to let me claim Jimin as mine," Namjoon said poetically.

Hoseok sighed, huffing out and shaking his head as he paced back and forth on the deck. He remained silent as he did, letting himself mull over the options in front of him. He stopped pacing, his back facing Namjoon and eyes staring back into the dining room where Taehyung was consoling a distressed Jimin, as well as Jungkook bringing over a glass of water to the distressed Omega. Yoongi was leaning against the door, watching his Omega take care of the other.

"Namjoon?" Hoseok called out to him.

"Yes?"

"How much does Taehyung mean to you?" Hoseok asked.

"Why, what kind of question is that?"

"The kind of question that let's me know you have depth. So answer me, how much does he mean to you?"

"He is my last family member, I would do anything for him, I would kill if it meant his safety."

"Then you understand how I feel about my brother, you understand that I will go to any length to secure his happiness, that there is no boundary that I will not cross for him.  If you ever, and I mean ever hurt him, I will rip you apart, and feel nothing when I do.  Understand?"

Namjoon chuckled as he approached Hoseok, placing his hand on the other Alpha's shoulder.  "You have my word, he will be my world, my morning star, my everything."

Hoseok gave one final huff and headed inside.  Namjoon smirked and followed the other Alpha indoors.  He came in to see Taehyung running over to the Alpha heading for the door.  Jimin watched his older brother retreating, following him as well.  Yoongi, Namjoon, and Jungkook all stood waiting in the dining room. 

Jimin stormed out after his brother who began walking down the path way from the large home.  He grabbed him by his shoulder forcing him to turn around and face him and now Taehyung. 

"What was all that for?!  How could you do or say any of that crap you did?!"  Jimin shouted, anger pouring out of every pore in his body.

"Jimin, listen to me--" Hoseok began saying as he tried to out his hand on Jimin's shoulder.
