Kara and Jace never talked about that night again. Like they promised. Kara still felt bad though. Jace was still in love with her, but she liked Liam now. She was sure of it.

JACE'S POV

I was by my locker taking out my books for my next class. As I closed my locker, I was startled by Liza who was standing there.

"What do you want?" I asked coldly.

"Can we talk?" I could hear her voice breaking.

I swear she was about to cry but I didn't care.

"I have nothing to say to you."I said walking away.

"Jace, wait!" she yelled grabbing onto my arm stopping me.

"Please. Just hear me out." she pleaded.

"Fine. Talk."

I was really interested in how she was going to sugarcoat her cheating.

"Please. Jace. Don't leave me. I swear, it'll never happen again."

"Yeah? And you really expect me to believe that? Cause that's exactly what you told Kara. And then you did it again.

"No. This time I really mean it Jace. You know about my past problems. I was afraid that no one would ever love me. Then, when I confessed to you and you reciprocated my feelings, I felt happy. But then the other guy showed me attention too. I guess, I gave into him. And I didn't realise what I was doing to our relationship. I'm so sorry Jace. Please. Just give what me another chance. I won't hurt you ever again. I promise. "she pleaded.

I scoffed," Never. "

I walked away. I ignored her calls and just walked on.

LIAM'S POV

I was pacing on the rooftop. I asked Kara to meet me here, because I desperately wanted to ask her something. But, now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't have. I'm way too nervous now. I might chicken out. No. I can't. I have to show her that I'm strong. I can't look weak in her eyes.

"Liam. Are you okay?" I was startled by her voice.

I had no idea she was here already.

"Yeah. Why do you ask that?" I asked nervously.

"You're sweating." she said pointing at my forehead.

"Oh. I'm just nervous."

No. Did I just say that?

"Nervous? Why?"

"Kara. There has been something I've been wanting to ask you for a while now."

"Yes?"

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

There it is . I blurted it out. There's nothing I can do now to change it.

She looked surprised at first which made me nervous, but then smiled.

"Yes." she answered.

"What?" I asked still registering her answer.

"Yes. Of course I'll be your girlfriend!" she said smiling.

I smiled and then immediately hugged her. I squeezed her tightly never wanting to let go.

"Liam can't breathe."

I let go, and smiled.

"I'm really glad you said yes. I was afraid that you were going to say no."

"Why would I say no? I like you."

My heart fluttered hearing her say those three words.

KARA'S POV

I was walking through the hallway smiling to myself. I'm really happy right now. I can't believe Liam asked me out. But , I'm really glad he did. I stopped when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry." I said before seeing who it was.

Liza.

"Hey Kara. I see you're all smiles. Can't say the same about myself,since my boyfriend dumped me."

"That's your own fault Liza."

"No. It's yours." she said angrily.

"How us it my fault? You're the one who cheated on him."

"Oh. And you must be really happy now aren't you? Because now you can have Jace all to yourself. That's why you told him, isn't it? So that you could have him."

"That's not true. I didn't tell him. And I don't like Jace that way."

"Lies. Lies. Lies. That's all you ever say. Lies. I'm so fed up of you."

"Yeah. Well, I'm fed up with you too." I said starting to walk away.

"Don't you dare walk away from me!" she yelled grabbing into my arm harshly.

"Let go." I said trying to yank my arm out of her grasp.

"NO! I'll never forgive you!"

"Ouch! You're hurting me!" I screamed trying to break free.

"No! I'll never let go!" she screamed pushing me to the back.

I lost my balance and tumbled down the stairs.

"Kara!" was the last thing I heard and Liam with a worried face was the last thing I saw.

And then I blacked out.

Ooh. Drama.
