I have had a history of awkward wake ups, but this time was different. I wasn't in any weird positions, and I wasn't drooling.

I open my eyes and they instantly lock onto Eldon's. We were so close together that our noses were touching. We both get startled and then start giggling at the fact that we got frightened by staring into each other's eyes.

Eldon turned away from me and slowly fell back to sleep. Though I was extremely tired I somehow rolled out of bed. I quietly creeped up to Eldon and push him off of the bed. He hit the hardwood floor with a loud thud. He seem angry at first but I knew that he could never stay mad at me for more than five seconds... on a bad day. His frown literally looked like it had turned upside down as he checked his phone.

"5:02?!" Eldon gasps.

"OMG WHAT?!" I exclaimed. I tried to whisper but I couldn't keep the words on the inside. I put my hands over my mouth.

"...Ya ...So anyway, the sun comes up in like a half hour. You wanna go watch it?" Eldon asked awkwardly.

"That would be so amazing babe... Let's go!" I replied excitedly.

Eldon and I took a quick shower together and got dressed. He was wearing the blue shirt that I had bought him. He looked so good in it. He also put on a pair of khakis shorts and a pair of Air Jordan Laney 5's. Eldon is a huge sneaker head, when he talks about shoes it's like he is speaking another language. The only reason I knew what the shoes where called was because I read the box. I wore a gray crop top, some shiny black leggings and a pair of black, white, and gray Air Max 90's which Eldon bought me. I love these sneakers, they're so comfortable.

We quietly tiptoed down the hallway until we got to the enterance of the attic. Eldon slowly opened the hatch and pulled down the ladder. I went up first as he held the ladder steady, it was still a little wobbly and it was creaking a lot but I managed to make it up without making too much noise. Eldon was next, he climbed up slowly, trying not to make much noise. he finally reached the top and closed the hatch behind him.

Eldon flipped the light switch that he had found, the lights flickered on and we started to walk around, lookinf at old stuff which had probably been her longer than I've been alive. Eldon found a pocketbook, it didnt look like it had been up here long. The cover read Emily's Diary. Eldon began to open it when I stopped him.

"Babe? You can't read that!" I said in a whiney voice as I snatched it away from him.

"Why not?" He asked with a puzzled expression on his face.

"You never read a girl's diary! It's private!" I replied.

"Oh! Well sorry!" He said sarcastically.

I put the diary in the waistband of my leggings and we kept going. We finally found the window which lead to the roof. Eldon unlocked the window and held it open so that I could climb through it, he followed right behind me. The windomd slammed shut behind us. We climbed to the peak of the house and sat down, I rested my head on Eldon's shoulder as we watched the sunrise. About half an hour had passed and the sun was now high in the sky. We decided to go back inside and see of anyone else was awake, then again Emily and Hunter might have never slept.

Eldon and I slowly scaled the roof until we got to the window. He tried to push it open but the widow was stuck.

"Ugh! It must have locked from the inside!" Eldon exclaimed.

"Quick, call someone!" I suggested.

Eldon quickly patted himself down searching for his phone but all he found were a pack of mint gum and some change.
