chapter 4 - The cafe

Rye's pov:

I opened my wolf eyes looking into Brook's stressed and restless face. I wanted to cuddle up to him more but I could feel my body changing back to human as the sun was coming up.

Brook's POV:

I noticed Rye changing into human as the sun came up. "Let's get you some food" he whispered before we both got up from the floor. He gave me a smile as he placed his hand in mine. I could get used to this, I want Rye to be mine so I can cuddle him all night.

As we arrived at the small cafe, we went to the counter, Rye said "my friend here wants a" while he looked at me. I spoke "tea please" as a women smiled at us "that will be £1.50 please" Rye gave her the money while I went to go sit down at a table. 3 girls walked into the cafe, staring at me going to their table.

I was sitting with Rye in front of me. We talked about everything and anything for what It felt like hours. I could feel my tea getting cold but didn't really mind.
During the conversation, he kept flirting with me, making my cheeks turn a deep shade of red. When we walked out of the café our hands were tangled together and Rye's thumb was slowly stroking my knuckles. We walked to the park, sitting on a bench. It was really cold because of the soft breeze so I started to shiver, then Rye seemed to noticed and he gave me his jacket, kissing my forehead slightly. Suddently, his phone rang and he answered rolling his eyes at the name on the screen, the phone- call ended about two minutes later. "Mikey just called, I gotta go. We'll meet tomorrow midnight at the same place, ok?" He asked.
I nodded my head yes as he stood up and left.
