Hey, d'you wanna go out after my shift today?" Namjoon was leaning over the edge of the marble counter, charcoal hair fanning out in the air in front of his tanned face. Yoongi grinned, emptying out a container full of some sugary excuse for mid-morning coffee into a plastic cup.
"Order for Min-Woo!" he called, sliding the caramel-colored drink down the counter and into the customer pick-up station. "Yeah, sure," he said, adjusting the thick straps of his apron. "Anywhere in particular?"
Namjoon reached out and gently tugged on a stray lock of Yoongi's dark hair, and a subtle rosy tinge began to color his pale cheeks. "Maybe the movies, y'know, for the sake of tradition..." Namjoon's voice dropped to a husky whisper, his neck dipping down towards the other man. "Maybe my place afterwards, too." Yoongi's heart quickened, pulse thumping behind his ears and at the base of his lined throat.
"Yeah, sounds great," he said in a oddly-pitched falsetto, then cleared his throat and cursed himself for being so awkward."
"Hm," Namjoon hummed at his reaction, eyes crinkling under the weight of a subtle smile. "Ah, well, you should return to work." he gestured to the front of the counter, where a rather stocky woman in a navy blazer and shocking crimson lipstick stood with her arms crossed and an expression of annoyance smeared across her features.
Yoongi cursed under his breath and hurried over to the waiting customer. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw that Namjoon was smirking as he scrambled to apologize for the wait and took her order. Oh, that man, he thought to himself as he scribbled her name on a plastic cup in black sharpie.

"Hey there," Hoseok said somewhat distractedly from the kitchen table as Yoongi all but danced into the apartment. He glanced at him, eyebrows raised, pencil tapping against his bottom lip. A few stray locks of his auburn hair hung low over his dark eyes. "You look happy. What's up?"

"Well, ah, I've got a second date with a guy I'm pretty into," Yoongi wrung his pale hands against the gray sweatshirt he'd bought after work the day before, suddenly embarrassed to tell the redhead. "We're gonna go out tonight."
"You're gay?" Hoseok's tone was neutral, somewhat light; Yoongi couldn't tell what he was thinking.
"Yeah, pretty much. I mean, I've been into a few girls but I've only been interested in guys sexually."
"I don't really know exactly what I am," Hoseok slumped inwards, back curving as his fingers curled over the opposite side of the laquered table. His pencil was poised between two of his fingers, and his dusky gaze focused on its golden body as he talked. "Everyone's just so hot, you feel me?"
"Ha, yeah," Yoongi said, biting his lip as as Namjoon's confident smile flitted across is psyche.
"...but I dunno if I like sexual contact that much," Hoseok continued. "I had my first kiss, and that was about it." He glanced at Yoongi, eyes half hooded, expression unreadable. "Up until now, at least."
"Oh." the air grew thick with some sort of unnameable tension, the slight swish of curtains caught in an early summer breeze the only sound in the whole apartment. "M-maybe you could meet someone online. If you really want to."
"Perhaps." Hoseok turned the pencil trapped between his spindly fingers from side to side, peering down at it from above the gentle slope of his nose. He cleared his throat, suddenly, loudly. "I'm gonna get back to work. Have fun on your date with....?"
"Namjoon. Kim Namjoon." Yoongi finished for him, feet swiveling towards the bedroom door. "Yeah, I will, thanks." he walked through the doorway and collapsed onto his bed, arms resting on his slim thighs as he tried to make sense of what had just happened. Had Hoseok been implying that he wanted to do...things... with him? Now that he thought about it, there'd been several instances in just the past few days where he'd felt a thick curtain of sexual tension draped betwixt them; and now that he realized it, he wasn't sure how to feel. True, he thought the other boy was attractive, but they'd only just met again, and he'd just told him that he was into Namjoon, for heaven's sake!
Yoongi sighed, hoping that the rest of their time together wouldn't be so fraught with confusion.

He decided to take a short nap and awoke to his phone pinging to life atop the nightstand he shared with Hoseok.

Namjoon ;) : Hey, I'm outside of your apartment building. Come down as soon as you can!
