The need to be happy

*Tin's house*

It was in the dead of the night, there was an eerie stillness that hung in the air as everyone drifted into their sleep, all except for one person in this grand palace that he called his house. Tinn was wide awake as he paced the full length of his bedroom in great agitation unable to get that haunting voice out of his mind. As his feet touched the stone cold marble flooring that illuminated the bright lights that were reflected from the crystal chandeliers hanging so undisturbed over the high ceiling it made the room bigger than it already was. He laced his fingers carelessly in a hypnotic manner around the items in his room , everything was ivory white and somehow it all felt so cold to his touch . The only time it ever felt warm enough to be called a home for Tinn was when he spoke to Can and as though by a magical transformation of power , he was able to bring his energy into the room and warm it up. But today it felt different as though a cold wind had came into the space and frozen it up . The cold air in the form of a voice . Part of him felt ridiculous worrying about mere words but part of him just could not leave it alone . And as soon as he arrived at that thought , he picked up the car keys for the  umpteenth time and contemplated the idea of driving over to Can's house to make sure he was ..alone .. away from that voice . He then realised how absolutely crazy it would make him look to Can and not to mention Can's family that he placed the car keys once again on his desk . He knew how Can was going to have the talk on trust with him as soon as he called again. He needed to be smart about it and work on a strategy to find out what was going on. The reaction that he had a moment ago fuelled the same response as he recalled in his minds eye.

" Can .. who was that ?" he had been amazed at how calm he sounded when in fact he wanted to do nothing more than crawl out of the screen ( a Sadako moment here ) . Before he even got a response ,he hung up the phone and placed a video call to his dear boyfriend.

Can saw the request for video call from Tinn but had not idea why but felt a sense of panic and as soon as that thought emerged in his head , he looked at the general direction of Nic's room and saw how the trouble maker had made his escape after throwing a grenade at his direction . * Buzzzz * the phone vibrates in exasperation as though carrying with it , his boyfriend's feelings. He tried to change his expression and flashed Tinn his most innocent smile as he waved into the screen , he was greeted at once by a handsome face that wore the grumpiest looking expression .

Tinn: " Who was that ?"
Can: " What? Who?"
Tinn:" You know you are a terrible liar
            right? I thought I heard a man's    
            voice?"
Can:" What voice ? What man ?no no ... it
           was ...it was just my neighbour !"
Tinn: " I did not know your neighbour was in
            your room ... show me your room !"
Can turned his camera lens outwards and  swept his phone in a dramatic 360 degree turn . In within that small window , literally small window of opportunity, Tinn noticed how the window of the house next door was wide open and there seem to be movement in the room .

Tinn:" Can do you have a new neighbour ?"
Can: " ( looking Super guilty ) yes he just
            moved in , it is the same guy you saw
            earlier in the morning . Apparently he
            is living there now ."
Tinn: " And you did not think it was
            important to tell me that ? I want you to
            put on the night wear that has Long
            sleeves and Long pants , also shut     
             and
             lock       
             your windows now!"
Can:" Tinnnnnnn!!!!! it's Summer for crying
           out loud and I don't have air
           conditioning remember? I will be
           boiling in here !"
Tinn:" I will get you an air con at once ! you
           just make sure you do as I tell you ."
Can : " Phan de Na ... I need to wake up
             early for practice tomorrow "( he
             blew Tinn a virtual kiss )
Tinn: " I want you to have your phone beside
            You Na .. love you "

Tinn had handled it gracefully but he was boiling at the thought of how that idiot from earlier needed a good reminder whose boyfriend he was hovering over like a persistent pest . He called the number that he often called on to handle business of such nature.

" I want you to find out everything you can about a new guy who had just moved in beside Can's house. I want the information ASAP. "

And with that curt message , he hung up . He looked at the clock that reflected the witching hour and did a quick math on how many hours he had before he could drive down to pick Can up for his Soccer practice.

*Pete's house *

Elsewhere there was another restless soul who was tossing and turning in his bed. Pete had been wide awake with his own thoughts flooding his consciousness. He could not help but have the same image of Chompoo clinging on to Ae ..tormenting him ! The news of her lingering presence was soon to be anything but settling for him. He trust Ae completely but he was not so sure how he could allow a girl to prance around Ae and remind him how different Pete in comparison was. He turned to face the sleeping profile of Ae and could not help but move closer to him , to feel his warmth and feel his boyfriend's existence. He felt a longing to possess him and to envelop his entire being towards him. The episode this morning gave him the courage to make the move that he usually would flush even at the thought of it . What he did next was purely spurred on by a mixture of self-consciousness and jealousy.
He slowly stroked the chiseled outline of Ae's face and took in how handsome he has gotten over time and slowly and tenderly kissed his way from Ae's closed eyelids, over his nose ridge and finally to his lips . It was done as gently as a butterfly would land on a flower petal. His lips latched onto Ae's lips and his tongue sought permission of entry as it gathers strength to dive into the slippery enclave . Ae stirred in his sleep and turned his body in response to the source of this sudden attack on his lips. Pete emboldened by this response continued by nibbling on the soft skin on Ae's neck and tasting it tantalisingly as he suck in to feel the pulse under the warm skin , and as soon as he released the taunt skin ,he saw a deep crimson love mark imprinted on his lover's neck . He smiled at how it looked obvious enough to prove to others how Ae was his and obviously enough, he had now marked his property . Ae was now fully awake as he looked to Pete in surprise at how boldly the latter was seducing him . He could feel something getting excited below and was like him ,awake and ready . He grabbed Pete without any question asked to not embarrass the blushing boy and firmly rolled his lover on him and pulled hid face down for a deep kiss. The two boys busied their hands by progressively unbuttoning each other's TOP and throwing it aside . Ae smiled at how much initiative Pete was taking and it excited him all the more. Pete shifted slowly down to greet Ae's excitement that was poke at him from below and freed it from the confines of Ae's shorts and he captured the full length of Ae's member in his mouth and slip it out as though he wanted nothing more than to please his partner . He wanted Ae to know how much he wanted him and as though his thoughts translated into actions, he vigorously fastened his movement and twirled his tongue around to make room for the part of Ae that was gradually growing in size . Ae felt a shock wave of pleasure travel through his body as he crawled onto the sheets in an attempt to prevent himself from moaning out louder then he was already doing. " Ah... Pete ... don't stop..it feels soo good .. don't ..aaaaaarh" he felt sweat of perspiration trickling down his back .
