Imma keep it real with you Chief, If I have to pay for the stories or chapters I want to read I'm deleting Wattpad. Like I was good with the little ads every chapter or so ya know. But if I wanted to pay for a book I can go to the library or online and purchase a book. Tbh if I'm really interested in a story only to find out I have to pay to see what happens next... I'm exiting or deleting the story. This ain't basic cable. but if Wattpad wants to support the writers like they say then why don't they pay them themselves? They're the ones who give Wattpad a platform to begin with.
Honestly i believe that if authors want to earn a profit then they should do what other authors did on here, which was publish their book and sell it for more. I mean i get it, it's easier said than done. but if you do that you're your own boss and you get to focus on your money without having to split it with others. Especially the people who are already testing out the beta, your story is already big i think they should publish it as a real book. Also how much will Wattpad pay them for their books? What percentage will go to the actual author from the "coins" purchase ? But... Wattpad really gon have a niqqa going back to reading fanfics because ... they buggin buggin

Also, why the orange doesn't show anymore when I check how many chapters I have left? Like wth I just be reading! I don't look at the chapter or the title ! I be to engrossed into the story to do so. So when i looked at the orange it really helps me remember where I'm at, but now it's gone and I'm confused as to what I was reading
Oh and let me get started on these unnecessary notifications. Like bro idc if someone posted on their board wth? This isn't Facebook or Twitter! I come on Wattpad thinking one of my favorite stories updated only to find out it's a notification of someone talking about their life or a random status like idc
