Sara POV:

I was waiting in c-sec academy for my brother Kyle to come through as I was waiting for him a turian with blue markings on his face came over to me.
"Hello garrus, how's the investigation going?"
He let's out a tired sigh and leans against the wall next to me he looks worn out, like he hasn't slept properly for weeks.
"Sara I couldn't find a single lead specters are untouchable, everything on him is classified."
He looks down almost in defeat."but your brother Kyle he solved it in a hour or so, and I spent weeks! You god damn Shepard's are too..."
He was cut off by an all too familiar voice.
"Sara what the hell are you doing here!"
Garrus leans closer to me.
"Lets hope your plan works."
I stand up from the wall as Kyle approaches.
"Well Sara why are you in the C-sec academy? Has some one hurt you!? Or are you in trouble again?"
"Well ya see.."
Kyle glares at me like I just ate the last cookie.
"Well... I'm not letting you leave."
"What!"
"You. Are. Not. Leaving. This. Station."
"Why aren't I?"
" because I'm coming with."
"No your not."
"Why not Kyle! I know how to take care of myself! I kicked your ass in the n7 program! I am one of the strongest biotics' and yet you treat me as a child!"
Kyle looked at me taken aback by my Outburst. His face softened, he looked like he was about to start crying. He looks to the floor and whispers,
"I just don't want you to get hurt."
"Kyle I know that. But I promise that what happened to mom won't happen to me."
A single tear falls from his eye.
"I know. It's just except for dad your the only family I have left."
"And you act like I don't know this! We have the same training Kyle I know what I am doing!"
"Fine you can come with me but if you get hurt I don't think I can live with the guilt."
I silently cheer as Kyle's companions look at me strangely one was a red krogan I know well, wrex a krogan bounty -hunter and biotic. But his other companion was a human female in armour from the 212th from Eden prime. Kyle notices the stares and decides to introduce my by wrapping his arm around my shoulder and pulling me towards him.
"This is my sister Sara, well my twin she's currently working security on the presidium. Her CO assigned her this task."
the woman in the pink and white 212 combat armour stepped forwards and saluted, Wrex cave a curt nod.
"Gunnery-chief Ashley Williams formally of the 212th regiment."
"Pleasure to meet you miss Williams.
Wrex."
"Sara."
They Kyle Interrupts the introduction noticing Garrus.
"Vakarian. What are you doing here?"
"Same reason as Sara."
"Well I heard good things about you, welcome to the crew."
My jaw dropped as I glare at Kyle. "How come he gets to come with, without an argument!?"
Kyle completely ignores me and turns to Wrex and Ashley. "Let's move out!"
I sigh and hang my head slightly.
"Sara, garrus. You have one hour to get your stuff and meet me by the Normandy."
I turn to garrus. "Hey Harris..."
"Yes Sara?"
I trip him up so he falls on his backside as I start sprinting towards the academys exit. "Race ya!!"
He stands up and starts to sprint after me. "Oh your on!"

Time skip:

After grabbing my personal effects such as the photo of my mother and my hand made Katana as well as my onyx n7 armor, I look down and smile. "Mom was so proud of us so was dad." I notice a year fall on the chest plate. "Well I should put this on save my carrying it.

Time skip:

I walk through the academy getting funny looks from some of the officers guess it's the ribbon tying up my ponytail, or the long-ass Katana on my back as well as the large duffle bag filled with weapons, knives and my family photo album and some clothes. Garrus is leaning against the wall with a bag by his feet waiting for me. He looks my direction and his eyes widen. "What? Do I have three heads or something?"
He looks away. "Oh it's nothing heh... anyway your brother is waiting by the lift to the hanger."
"Ok let's go."
I say happily as I jog to we're Kyle is staring at Ashley's backside. As I approached him I elbowed him in the side. "Hey What was that for?!"
"Aww did I ruin you view?"
He looks away blushing as me and Garrus high five, Kyle let's out a short cough. "Alright every one let's head to the Normandy the ambassador and Anderson are waiting for us."
We all got into the lift the ride was comedically long and the music was crappy and generic, until a news report about exo genni denying something about a missing survey group in the hades gamma cluster. Kyle hums to himself as he adds that to his list I also see and assignment from rear admiral kohoku. The lift finally comes to a stop as we step out we see Anderson and lidina discussing something as we approach lidina spots us and immediately speaks to Kyle. " I've got big news Shepard, Anderson is stepping Dow as commanding officer of the Normandy. The ship is yours now."
"She's quick and quiet, and you know the crew she's a perfect ship for a specter. Treat her well commander."
Kyle then speaks up. "I want the truth. Why are you stepping down sir?"
I pipe up. "I agree from what I've heard about you from Kyle you would be perfect for this mission."
"Kyle needed his own ship," turns to Everyone "A specter can't answer to anyone but the council. And it's time for me to step down."
"Come clean with me captain. You owe me that much."
"Hey Kyle I'm going to go see in the ship I'll see you later."
"Ok Sara."
I head into the Normandy to be met by a rather attractive man.
