Chapter 50: For Our Captain

Elizabeth's P.O.V
Meliodas looks so peaceful being in my arms...I need to think of a way to save him from this. I can't let him be this way...
"Meliodas..." I murmur softly and didn't care that the sins watched me act loving towards Meliodas.
"Sis-sis, I'm going to stay by your side in case the worst should happen." Merlin stated with a smirk and it made me happy that she cared so much about me.
"Thank you Merlin..." I pulled Meliodas closer to my chest and rubbed his head softly.
"Since Escanor is injured...Diane, Gowther, Ban, King! You will be the only ones fighting the demon army." Merlin spoke seriously and I watched everyone else look afraid to fight.
"Don't be afraid! I know you guys are strong enough to take on the demon's. I believe in you! And I'm sure Meliodas does too..." I spoke firmly and saw that were all smiling.
"Elizabeth..." Hawk murmurs with a smile and walked closer to the perfect cube so he could be near me.
"We won't let you down Elizabeth!!" Diane shouted with a determined tone and smiled at me.
"We'll save you and the captain!" King shouted and stood proudly next to Diane.
"I failed the captain once...I won't do it again!" Ban spoke firmly and it made me feel safe. I knew they will all protect me and Meliodas too.
"We have a 70% chance at winning. I will fight for my comrades." Gowther smiled and I began to cry tears of joy.
"Thank you everyone..." I smile happily and look at Meliodas' sleeping face.
"See that Meliodas...? You have comrades who will do anything for you...for their captain." I thought to myself as my tears fell onto Meliodas' cheeks. I hope that no matter what happens...I can save Meliodas.
