Being different {a Pokemon story} UNDER EDITING

Chapter 1: meeting new faces

Hello ,my name is Dawn and I'm different. I have reddish orange eyes and white hair. I was born with it ,even though my mom and dad have brown hair and my mom has blue eyes while my dad has hazel eyes. I was born with catlike ears and tail.

I can understand cat like Pokemon ,mostly Eevee's cousins or evolved forms. I can hear really well and I can smell well too. I'm 15 now and I'm living with my aunt now. my parents died when I was little so I've been living with her ever since.

I hear my Aunt yell "Dawn!!! Dinner!!"

I walked out of my room and came downstairs. I sat at the table across from my Aunt. she had brown hair and green eyes. she was only like 25 and she was still pretty young and good looking. her boyfriend came up from behind me and tickled my ears.

I twitched my Snow White ears and growled. he just smirked at me and chuckled. I hated it when he did that. I ignored him and ate dinner.

my Aunt April asks "When are you leaving Tomorrow Dawn?"

I answer " I don't know ,maybe sometime in the morning?"

I look up at her and she smiles kindly and says "you've grown up so fast ,I'm sure your parents would be happy"

I flashed her a sad smile.
She smiled back. I looked down at my plate ,covering my face with my bangs. my short white hair was laying on the sides of my face. I thought about what my Aunt said and my parents. we ate in silence. I finished eating and went upstairs to my room.

I grabbed my bag and started to pack for tomorrow. I couldn't wait to start my Pokemon journey tomorrow. I packed a lot of food and water and I grabbed some Poke dollars I have been saving for the past two years. in all I had about 700 pokedollars.

I had to walk to Proffesor Elms tomorrow ,but it was only a couple blocks away. I had to get my Pokegear and my Pokeballs.

I layed down on my bed and curled up into a small ball. I curled my tail up against my legs and got comfortable.
I closed my red eyes and fell into a deep sleep ,thinking of what tomorrow brings

I woke up and looked at the time. it was 9:00 in the morning. I stretched and sat up. I got dressed out of my baggy pajama pants and my tank top and went to my closet. I looked in my closet and grabbed a dress that went to my ankles.

I put it on and tucked my tail in underneath. I brushed out my hair and put on a sunhat so it covered my ears. I didn't want anybody to see my ears and tail. I hated it when they made jokes about it or teased me. I sighed and looked in the mirror ,making sure it wasn't showing.

It was concealed pretty well and I grabbed my bag. I went downstairs and ate breakfast with my Aunt. I finished and I hugged her. she hugged me back and let go. she looked at me and said "take care of yourself ,Kay?" I nodded and smiled.

she hugged me and said "I'll miss you so much" I felt my eyes tear up. I said "I'll miss you too" I smiled and I felt my tears flow down my cheeks. I head to the door and opened it. I looked back at my aunt April and waved as I headed out the door.

I walked on a trail and headed for professor Elms house. I skipped through the trail and some people gave me wierd looks. I didn't care ,I don't care what people think of me. I skipped along the trail carelessly and I wasn't looking. I crashed into someone and fell to the ground. I was holding my hat so it didnt fall off. I looked up and saw a boy with spiky black hair hidden under a hat and golden eyes. he said "oh ,I'm so sorry ,I wasn't looking where I was going!" he helped me up and I said "it's ok ,it was mostly my fault anyway" I smiled at him and he smiled back. he said "hi ,my names Gold"
