Chapter 9: released!!

Dawn's POV

I sat in the waiting room almost bursting with excitement. Today they were finally gonna release Gold and silver! I smile curled onto my
Lips just thinking of Golds goofy grin ,or the way silver scowls at me when I annoy him or make fun of him.

Suddenly I heard the door open. I jerked my head to look at the figure. as my eyes met his eyes I was filled with the warmth and joy I always feel when I see him ,except its 10x better because I haven't seen him in forever!

I almost yelled "gold!!!"

I ran up to him and jumped Into his arms ,encasing him in a hug. I pulled away and smiled at him.

I asked "are you feeling any better?"

He answered "a LOT better then LAST time you saw me"

I giggled. After Gold and I got caught up in a couple minutes ,silver walked into the room.

I yelled "silver!!!!"

I hugged him tightly as he kinda just patted my back awkwardly. I was worried about silver more than gold because of last time we saw each other.

I let go and exclaimed "I'm so happy you guys are both ok"

Gold smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head while silver just had his usual look to him.

Gold exclaimed "well lets go battle the gym leader ,we don't have all day!!!"

I giggled and nodded. I missed them so much, I'm surprised I even made it without them!

We signed out of the hospital and stepped outside. I breathed in the scent of fresh air and smiled. I was so happy to finally get out of that living hell.

I know it saves people's lives and junk, heck it even saved silver's life! but I just hate that place. one, I'm afraid of needles. two, the doctors freak me out. and three, it smells like blood from the previous patients. I shivered at the thought of the smell of blood.

I shook it off and followed them to the gym. I already won my gym badge while they were in the ER so I decided to watch their matches.

We walked into the gym and Gold yelled "I GET TO BATTLE HIM FIRST!"

He was about to run for the gym leader when silver grabbed his shoulder and pushed him out of the way and walked calmly to the gym leader.

I giggled "looks like he beat you to it"

Gold scowled which made me laugh even harder. I grabbed his wrist and said "c'mon lets go take a seat"

I held onto his wrist as we walked into the bleachers to get a good seat. we sat down and I let go of his wrist.

I watched the match intently as it began. Whitney released her clefairy and the silver let out his sneasel. I looked over at gold and it looked like something was bothering him.

I asked "gold? is something wrong?"

He looked up at me and said with a small fake smile "no ,everything's fine"

I muttered "if you say so"

I looked back at the match but I couldn't help but glance at him every once in a while to make sure he was fine. I look over at gold and don't take my gaze off of him.

Suddenly I hear an uproar of cheers as silver knocked out miltank. I smiled. Im impressed ,it took me 7 tries to beat that damn cow, and he did it on his first try too! I cheered for him and my smile widened. Whitney handed him the plain gym badge and I swore I
saw a small smile on his lips.
